Awesome level design and gameplay loop!
Cool aesthetic with the Egyptian theme and fitting music. A shame that the sound didn't make it to the actual game but I enjoyed having the backing track
Would have liked to see the feature to edit individual blocks rather than having to re-place everything again, but understand that's due to the time constraints
overall 10/10 enjoyment

Wow, the background music is by far the best I have heard so far. There are a lot of entries where you were the level builder, but this is the first one I saw where you could do both. Really cool.

Developer

Wow, thank you :)

outisde of the character animations and sound, the game is super polished with a lot of levels and a lot of features. the only bug i found is that if i select a platform type, and then select a different platform before placing the previous one, is uses up that last platform. good job!

Developer

Thank you ! :) we'll make sure to check that

I like the gameplay loop between platforming and strategizing, keeps the game from becoming stale. I think paired with a more inventive platforming mechanic, this would be a really cool game.

Developer

Thank you!

I agree, we had some ideas for special obstacles and platforms that were outside of our scope unfortunately.

Very good game!

Thank you :D

Really unfortunate on the music breaking.

Its nice simple gameplay, reminds me of games like Ultimate Chicken Horse. The game loop is pretty good - teaching player mechanics in platformer and then extending it to the level designer challenge.

Thank you!

I haven't tried Ultimate Chicken Horse but I will make sure to check it out.

Yeah it was really unfortunate about the music and sounds.
But I will make sure to upload a version with them as soon as the voting period ends :)

The puzzles in each level are really interesting. I have a suggestion though - it would be great if the placed blocks can be move when editing again. Additionally, displaying the character's movement trajectory would be helpful. I believe that if you are given more time to refine it, the game will definitely be more polished.

Developer

Thank you :)

I agree with you that it would be really great to edit blocks, it's really missing but I didn't have enough time, so I will try to implement it and upload an update after the jam.
I am thinking of showing a small graphic of where the character would reach if he jumped up from a tile, is that what you meant by the characters trajectory?

Thanks for the suggestions they are great!

Fantastic Game, with cute graphics! I especially like the setting in the pharao's tomb. However there seems to be a bug when stopping and resuming the game with the escape menu...

Developer

Thanks a lot! Happy to hear you liked it :D

I haven't encountered that bug, what happened when it appeared?

Developer

Thank you !  :)
