Great work!

Movement feels amazing! I spent the first 5 minutes admiring the walking animation!

Definitively first place material!

Developer

Thanks a lot, I really appreciate it!! :D

Very cool game. I like how you get introduced to how everything works and then the levels getting harder. However, some bugs (metal blocks getting stuck in the walls) make it a bit frustrating sometimes. For the review it was good to limit the number of levels, but for a real player you might want to add some more levels and also a "save" function. If thats to hard to implement, give the user some access code for the levels. I saw this in a game from the 90s... I guess it was push over. Worked out very well. You just note down some 6 digit number and need to reenter it to get back to your level when reloading the game.

Thanks a lot for the feedback! The game actually does save the completed levels, you can select any completed level to get back to it from the level selection screen. I just use Godot’s ConfigFile class in my SaveData class to save the furthest level the player has got up to. Thanks for playing :D

Well polished game!

I’m however having difficulty with some of the puzzle because it seems it depend a lot on the physics, which are rather finicky (More than a few times, the cube simply disappeared when I used my orb).

Developer

Thanks! Yes the physics can certainly be a bit dodgy at times, that’s why I made sure to have each level easily reset-able, but I’m sure there are some tweaks I can make to improve it. Thanks for playing and for the feedback :)

Awesome!

Lovely graphics, suitable sound/fx, great idea!
I felt a bit lost in some levels, maybe I didin't got the hint what to do. Definitely one of my favorites so far ;)

Developer

Thanks a lot! Sorry that you felt a bit lost, I didn’t want to coddle the player too much but perhaps that isn’t perfect for everyone. I’m glad you liked it though! :)

Great work! This felt very polished. The art was excellent, the levels were well designed, and the sound and music were nice (though the footsteps were a bit loud and repetitive. It took me a while to figure out I had to hold the mouse button down for the orb. I kept clicking on the fire in the second stage and not understanding why the orb disappeared so soon.

Developer

Thank you very much for the feedback! I agree with you, I’ll definitely tweak the footstep sfx. Yeah I did not explain the orb controls very well at all. Thanks for playing :)

So well put together. I loved the amount of polish you managed to achieve in such a short time. It was really nice, definitely keep working on this :)

Developer(+1)

Thanks a lot! I really enjoyed watching you play on stream! I do plan to work on this some more :D

Please do!

Excellent puzzle game. The "I believe I can fly" level beat me though. Maybe it's my old hands, but I trying to jump using the magnets in the pit, would either result in me getting stuck in the walls or dropping into the fire. Still, I enjoyed it a lot until that moment.

Developer

Thank you! Yeah the collision that level is a bit dodgy in the pits. I think at some points the player is too wide to fall through, but not wide enough to land properly. It could certainly do with some fixing up. Thanks a lot for the feedback though! :D

Loved this game, great job!

Thanks a lot! :)

I loved the character's animation! It was not directly obvious to me that you were supposed to move the orb with the mouse (I'm on a laptop with a touchpad so I don't keep my hands on it at all time:) ) but apart from that, very fun to play

Developer

Thank you! Yeah I definitely could've made the controls for the orb a lot clearer. :)

Cool idea! Well executed!

I liked the effects on the ground whilst running and jumping!

Developer

Thank you! After I added those effects the game felt so much nicer to play :)

A wonderful game, I played it all the way to the end.

The art and music provide a nice atmosphere, mysterious and calm.

You have managed to make quite a bit of content and also polished it up well - great job!

Developer

Thank you! I appreciate your kind words :)

Wow, that is really cool! So far my favorite interpretation of the theme.

Art and music work really well and the game feels very polished overall (except for the character, which spins around like crazy for me lol).

Nice job!!

Developer

Thank you very much! I'm not sure why the character would spin around but that's certainly an interesting bug haha :)

This is a neat little game. Looks great, sounds great. Would've loved to see more of it.

The box physics were a little odd, seeming to prefer spinning to sliding. Maybe a stylistic choice, but it makes the floating box areas pretty tricky.

Also, it's possible to shimmy the boxes out of the way instead of burning them. Not necessarily a bad thing, I just had to try it.

Developer

Thanks a lot! Yeah if I had more time I'd like to have made the boxes act a bit more intuitive. As for the box shimmying, yeah I wanted the puzzles to be solveable in whatever way the player felt right, so it is intended! Thanks a lot for playing and for giving feedback!
