Thank you! It was my first time trying to use the amen break sample lol

Thank you very much! You can check the source code yourself here but essentially, it uses a TextureRect with a simple shader which controls the fading in/out. For the cool design it uses a GradientTexture2D configured as a radial gradient with mirror repeat and with the ‘from’ and ‘to’ settings very close to create concentric rings which are mirrored across the texture.

Absolutely amazing, the physics feel perfect! Great variety of artwork, well balanced gameplay, and fitting music. You did a great job of hitting that creepy vibe, it felt reminiscent of Berry Bury Berry. This is my favourite submission so far!!

What an amazing vibe, this really made me smile!!! The art style is stunning and I feel genuinely inspired to make something with a similar style in the future, so thank you! The music is so relaxing too. Really well done making this, you’ve done some great work.

Swapping your body parts with those of mutant creatures is such a cool idea and it’s implemented really well! The huge variety of models was super impressive and I love their textures too, the whole theme of the game is really cohesive. Great music too, the whole thing works together very well. Amazing work team!!

I love the turtle’s sprite. It’d be great if there was more to do in the game though.

What software did you use to make the music? It’s kinda crazy in a good way.

Seems interesting, but I couldn’t figure out how to kill enemies or get money.

I love the ominous humanoids watching through the glass! I really agree with the other commenter. With each jam our skills improve little by little, so continue creating!

I won! Very creative story! I’m always impressed when people make 3D games for these jams because I’ve never been successful. Nice work :)

Really good premise. I didn’t manage to get very far because the charge jump would break sometimes. Great first game jam though team! Well done for getting through it :)

Amazing artwork! I’m really impressed by the variety of different parts that all work together perfectly to generate the creatures. Great work!!

I love this art style so much!! Great work team :)

Such a cool mechanic that I imagine was really quite difficult to make! Well done :)

Thanks a lot! Thanks for finishing it too!!

Really cool game. I love Gachiakuta and I think you used that inspiration really well! I didn’t have the screen jitter issues that the other commenter had but I think it’s probably a bit too difficult for a jam game. Some reliable heals or a dodge roll would be a big help. The art was great and the variety of weapons and enemies was really impressive. Overall a really great entry, congrats team! :)

Interesting! Ty for passing on the knowledge :)

This game is so good! It’s really impressive how many different guns you implemented! Nice work :)

Unique take on the theme! Nice work!

Great art and sense of humour. Feels like something you see on Glep’s ipad on smiling friends. The TV was an amazing touch

Thanks for the great feedback. I realise now I should have made the text shake an accessibility option in the settings! Yeah the enemy AI isn’t very solid, I think it pauses for a turn when it hits a wall.

Thanks! Yeah you’re totally right, an enemy movement preview would be a solid improvement.

Thanks! Yeah feel free to clone the repo and investigate. I make use of a lot of tweens to smooth things out, they’re really useful

Great first jam game! Super solid mechanic. I feel like spam clicking might be a bit too OP so an improvement might be something that punishes you for clicking too fast or rewards you for precise shots.

Also the linux build didn’t work for me but I could run the windows build with wine.

For web export you can use GDScript (the built-in scriping) or C# with Godot 3.x (i’ve never used godot-rust)

Thank you! :D I wanted to do something a bit more fun than the standard numeric coin counter for your money!

Thank you! Yeah I was experimenting with some image drawing stuff in this. The cursor trail, the rabbit rainbow, and the spent bullet casing smoke all draw stuff onto an image which fades over time. Check the source code if you’re interested :D Definitely agree about the play field, it was just a pure green ColorRect until the last day lol

Thanks a lot! :D Yeah the boss is definitely a little undercooked lol

Thanks! :)

Thanks, appreciate it! Glad you enjoyed it :D

Great super chill vibes. Great use of the theme and the growing mechanic is really cool and impressive. Nice work! :D

Victory! This game is so cute, it was the first game I’ve played this jam so far that really made me grin. The gameplay is simple but it’s super clean and just good fun.

The art is really something special though! Great job with the 3d models, their texture work is stunning. It’s really impressive that you managed to make the different vegetables all distinct enough to discern them from a distance. I genuinely want some of those little guys as plushies or something.

One funny thing I noticed is that the music doesn’t loop, I guess I spent too much time admiring the little scene hahaha

Great work team :D

Really great submission! I loved your super clean UI design! I also liked how you had to figure out what each stat did, rather than it just straight up giving you an explanation, but not everyone will have the same opinion

Thanks :)

Thank you! Appreciate the feedback! Yeah I didn’t really give any sort of instruction to the player in this, tried to make it as self explanatory as possible. But a little instruction is always needed I guess!

Thanks a lot! :D

Thank you!

Hmm I don’t think I could get to the liqour store.. How do you get there?

Edit: Ahhh i didn’t realise you could go down by the sad will

Edit 2: i freed sarah :’( You made a really cool game! Thank you!

The windows executable doesn’t work for me, just spams a very loud noise on an empty screen. I got curious so I ran the exe through gdsdecomp (sorry) but then running the decompiled game in the editor made it work for some reason! So I might be the only participant besides yourself to actually play your submission! The game got stuck making the Neniri so I had to tweak the StoryOrder and then manually open the next scene. I don’t even know if doing this is breaking the rules lol. If it is I apologise, curiosity got the better of me. But even then after all the messing around I still couldn’t find a soul to put in the Neniri :( It’s a shame because I was getting really invested in the story. I hope you can fix it up eventually!
