Thanks for playing! I knew I had little time, so I added "juice"  from the start because I knew the game it self would need it xD

Thanks for playing, the idea was for it to be punishing to fail.

Thanks for playing

thanks for playing! The "forgiving" pattern recognition was the sole premise for entering the jam, cool to have it noticed! I do think it's too forgiving in a sense, but time was very limited on my side.

thanks for playing! The second duck stage inspired the skip buttons as I wanted people to finish the game 😁

Thanks for playing!

Was really cool seeing you play and giving commentary. It shows where you as the developer have blind spots especially with jam games where it's pressure cooked so to say.

Thanks for playing!

I'm glad it worked in the end, I had another effect in the game to give more "strength"  to the being drunk theme, but it wouldn't run well in the html export.

Thanks for playing!

I'm thinking of converting it to a mobile game for my youngest on a tablet :) he's crazy about animals

thanks for playing!

Thanks for playing!

Yep all good idea's!

Fun concept, I did get stuck because I got too little cards at some point since I didn't have the right strategy in the beginning. Maybe some explanation beforehand or a restart button would be nice.

Looks cool and complete for a jam game!

thanks for playing!

I had the bunnies spawning at a fixed y-location, but I changed the spawn code for the animation which is played when you finish the game... Good observation 👍

Thanks for playing!

thanks for playing!

Totally agree!

Thanks for playing!

Yeah for me the concept was what made me push through because I realized I had very limited time. I focused on completing the core gameloop but the balance is off ☺️

Congrats on submitting!

Pretty cool you pulled off this level of complexity in a jam game!

thanks for playing!

I agree the balance is off 😁

Later on when enemies get smaller and have more hp is can be better to downgrade the speed.

I haven't encounterd the non moving bug, I'll look into that and fix it after the jam. Thanks again!

Congrats on submitting!

I agree with @Delpire.

The only thing I didn't like was the music, it get's reaaaalllyy repetative :D

Congrats on submitting!

I upgraded my size a couple of times, made the pickup easier :D

Congrats on submitting!

I couldn't get it to fully work, but the placement of towers works really well.  Looks promising.

Thanks for playing!

Cool concept and well executed!

I likes the art aswel!

I ran into a problem where I couldn't put down an item and I couldn't solve any of the problems anymore :D

Damn I'm a 1 hit wonder, is the hp not implemented completely? It goes down by 1 if hit but I'm dead either way :D

Difficult, but fun and fast enough to keep trying, nice submission!

Was trying for that high score but killing those birds gets hard :D

Cool submission

Full throttle from the go haha! Nice submission

Cool concept and nice story telling :D

Controls feel a bit hit or miss, but that could just be me :D

Man i will come back to play again :D

Amazing entry of a jam game!

Thanks for playing!

The balans is not in the correct place, if you get unlucky in the beginning it can actually get impossible. But if you get max turrets and max launchers it's pretty much impossible to loose.

congrats on submitting!

I think the art looks great! As mentioned the difficulty needs some tweaking but for a jam game it's a good game!

Thanks for playing!

Wow the art is amazing!

I liked the idea aswell, can't get over the fact how good this looks for a jam game!

The controls in combination with the camera made some jumps a bit difficult to predict, other than that great submission.

Congrats on submitting!

I like how you've build around the theme and wildcards.

There's a lot of stuff in here for a jam game specially for a first submit.

The controls, specifically the jump  could use some work.

Original idea! I was stumped at first, I was like am I just at a computer, but then the action started.

Cool how there are multiple types of enemies which makes you shift your attention.

Cool shop concept!

With more types of upgrades and level variation this would be complete game! Nicely done for a game jam!

Thanks for playing!

I totally agree! I had way less time than anticipated. I shifted to finishing a game loop at one point and had no time for enemy diversity and or more impact full downgrades.

I did like the overall idea so I tried to make it as complete as possible to atleast submit.

Wow cool that all the game text is also narrated!

I was a bit lost until I read the comments and actually knew how to do the movements :D I was flaying the mouse around hoping to "hit"  the movement haha.

(1 edit)

Wow amazing for a jam game! The overall look and feel of the game is great!

Food... get me more :D

Oh and the faces are heart melting!

Congrats on submitting!

Amazing for a jam game! So much seems well done, like the menu transitions and smooth tutorial.

I loved the facial expression on the tutorial ritual "boss"
