Game Description
Didnt had much time so i (only) came up with this small idea/prototype of an "Flappy Bird" clone. You cant controll the "Growth" of the stock graph, but you can controll the "Danger Zones" (like in Flappy Bird) to prevent a stock market crash.

Nice interpretation of the theme. The graphics suit the concept nicely.

That was tough lol, super tough. xD But! That makes me all the more proud to have gotten to 12! I think it could use a bit of refinement to give the player more of a sense of control on the game, while still keeping the growth fairly uncontrollable.

Either way lol, it was fun! Awesome entry! What's your best score so far? ^^

Developer(+1)

Thank you for the feedback.

Yes, i need to figure out how i can adapt the difficulty a bit so thats still "uncontrollable" but not unfair.

12 is really good, my best is 14 :)

14!? Damnnn hahah!

I quite enjoyed trying to avoid having the stock crash. A simple, hard game. Very creative!

Developer

Thanks for your feedback.

I've never laughed so hard at not being able to get 4 points.

I understand other reviewers perspective of nerfing the rng a little bit, but I also recommend leaving the as-is mode in as like a "hard-core" difficulty.

I love this. Excellent entry.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for your feedback.

Yes, the difficulty is really "hard-core" at the moment. Have to figure out how to adapt it or maybe, ay sou say, let it and maybe add an "easy", and "normal" moder or something.

Submitted(+1)

Congrats on the entry!

Unfortunately, the unpredictability of the stock sucks out the fun for me. My personal best was 6 and out of curiosity, I played a couple rounds where I pressed no keys at all.

On a lucky round, I managed to get 3 points without doing anything.

Developer

Thanks for your feedback.

Yes, thats something which needs to be adapted. Of course it was my intention to make it "uncontrollable" and difficult like flappy bird, but not that its to unfair for the player.

Hahaha, I loved this! It's so hard though.  Very impactful, this is a really creative entry :)

Developer

Thank you for the feed back :)

Very original idea which made me laugh out loud.

I'd say the "RNG" problem is mainly just that the curve sometimes varies too much at once which is really hard to avoid. I couldn't even reach level 10 x)

I may just suck though.

Developer

Thanks for your feedback.

Yes, thats something that i need to adapt in the future.

I don't really think it's like Flappy Bird at all, the game is way much harder to predict and it does add the excitement because of that too. It was very fun spamming the up or down key to adjust the barrier and the soundtrack was pleasant to hear. However, I think the game would benefit massively from being able to go fullscreen since when I pressed up or down, the website also moves, which makes it confusing.

Also yeah, rng as others have said.

Developer

Thanks for your feedback.

Fullscreen is a good idea, didnt consider that the key will also move the browser/website.

A unique twist on the flappy birds clone.

Submitted(+1)

This game has the same energy as the flappy bird, it's that I can't even managed to get 10 or above score with about 10+ tries, maybe I'm suck at predicting how things will go in the future.

Uncontrollable growth, applies to the stock exchange graph, and applies to the frustration the game gave to the players as well...

Developer(+1)

Thanks for your feedback.

Yes, due to the uncontrollable gorth of the graph its realy difficulty and has a high frustration rate.

But yes i tryed to make like it was (is) for me playing flappy bird... frustrating but still challenging to get further :)

At first I thought it's a floppy disk stock exchange! :D Good job. Only problem that I had was that changes are sometimes too sudden and too steep to handle, especially when they happen at the very last moment.

Developer

Thanks for your feedback.

Yes, you are right the "random" change could sometime to hard/unfair. Didnt had the time and no good idea to polish this.

Good game but it took a bit of  time to understand how to play it. I liked the audio

Developer

Thanks for your feddback

The game looks super cool and is pretty fun. The stock market theme is fun. The randomness felt a bit unfair sometimes though.

Developer

Thank you for your feedback.

You are right sometimes the randommess is "unfair" did had enough time to figure out a good solution to keep it random but not unfair :)

Developer
