A fun and unique game! And a good take on the theme as well! Really liked the art and the music. I had fun watching and helping cells grow. Great job!
Wow! I really liked the art style! The idea is very creative, and the game is well executed! Nice work!++
Really cool game, loved the art style and found the theme quite original :D
Is this game trying teach me something? XD
Seriously, your game is adorable! The the is very nice and the mechanics works too good.
The sfx/music hold me playing it, it is adorable!
Thanks for make this game, i love it!
Great idea for a resource management and puzzle game. Seems really scientifically accurate aswell (to me anyways). Only wished the selected item was presented a little better in the UI.
Thanks! I enjoy microbiology and like to see people catching on to some of the real science behind the game! Having selected cells display better was in our todo list but didn't quite make it in the crunch of the jam and the inexperience of time budgeting our first game. Glad you enjoyed it and hope you stick around to see that implemented in the future!
Wow impressive idea! The music is very good going with the game play! I really enjoy the game! And i really think it perfectly suit the theme of the game jam.
Super neat idea! Took me a bit to figure out how to play correctly, and I wasn't able to beat the third level, but really cool game!
Wowowow! So good! First of all the music is a BOP. Holy cow so much fun and really creates a great atmosphere for the game. The graphics are stellar. Very cute style that really fit the tone of the game and added to the atmosphere of it all!
Like others I did have trouble with my initial attempts at the first level. Tried a few times and it was rough. I enjoyed your tutorial and Even did it a second time to make sure I didn't miss anything, but once I did just read a little bit of some of the comment section you made to help aide in gameplay I really took off and was able to get several levels in!
Overall I was glad to play it over and over because the game itself is just so charming and a neat take on the theme that I haven't seen yet. Really really great job and wonderful entry!
I suck at this game but it was still fun. Done well!
great game , good gui , music ,
i couldn't pass the 3rd game
Thank you!
If you'd like to continue I posted a comment a few minutes ago with solutions for the first half of levels. Have fun!
i reached the 5th game
A well polished game! Your tutorial was thorough.
Music and SFX are great and so was the idea. As people have mentioned, I also I could not get past the first level after playing for many times, but I did get to see the mysterious cells multiplying and flashing their colours before turning black again.
Great work!
Thanks for the feedback after realizing the difficulty was harder than intended I'll work on a spoilers section with optimal balancing/cell usage if for players to look at if they get stuck. Thanks again!
Overall, I think you are doing a fantastic job communicating with the player every detail about your game. It just happened the first level was just a notch harder than expected. This happens in game jams! Ping me when the new version is out, I'd love to explore more mysterious cells!
There's a comment with advice and guides on the first half of the game now! We'll update with more tomorrow.
The game is pretty challenging, but I love how polished it was!
play this several times! never got past the first level lol kept going from not feeding them enough to feeding them too much lol but yeah i had fun with this game! my only issue was the cells taking too long to multiply. otherwise great job
Pretty cool. The cells take a little too long to multiply in my opinion.
Thanks for the feedback! In the future we'll look into speeding up cell division especially on the first level!
