easiest 5 stars of the jam! loved the difficulty and the Undertale inspiration. great job!

Seconding what almost everyone else said- tutorial of sorts would be nice, but overall a great little well polished gamejam game. There was some minor visual glitching on the magic 8 ball effects (iirc) that got larger over time, but nothing past that haha.

This is great! Super addictive and gives Undertale vibes (which I personally love). You get all 5 stars from me!

Such a charming game! I really liked the vibe of the game as well as the art, the dice rolls very also very satisfying when you dealt damage.

Some feedback:

  • It took me some time to realize you could use 3 dice on a turn, it might have been nice for dialogue that tells you whose turn it is
  • I kind of wished that the area was a bit bigger, the default size was a bit smaller and the movement was a bit faster
  • Adding a mini description of the dice when you hover over them might have been nice I often forgot which dice did what

Despite those small problems I had with the game I really enjoyed playing it, I could tell there was a lot of effort put into the game and that you guys had fun making it. Nice job!

Very good game!

I love how you can have different dices where you have to risk more for a higher reward.

This game looks very promissing!

Very fun game, congrats!

But I've found an issue. If I drag and drop the dice once more right after I dropped it for the first time, I can use the same dice for the second and for the third time.

So let's say I have 1 "Baby Dice", now I can use it three times, so that I will be very tiny.
If I had a "Wall Dice", I would be able to place 3 walls.

And I don't even know if it's just me being very unlucky, but the "Gambler Dice" didn't seem to do anything. :)

Music is also very nice and fitting the game.

Good job!

Yeah, we found that bug shortly after we submitted unfortunately. I'll be fixed post-jam, but it is pretty funny to see the character shrunk 3 times

Also, the Gambler dice has 5 blank faces and 1 face that does over 20 damage. In the future we hope to let the player mouse over dice to preview each side. Thanks for playing!

Well executed Undertale-style gameplay with humor to match. There were a couple of things I needed cleared up (like that you only chose 3 dice to use, and that you still drag the healing dice over the enemy instead of on top of your character to use them), but I had a lot of fun with it and was chuckling the whole way though. Nice job!

I love the art style :3

the game idea is cool but need a lil bit more tutorials :D

Well made !

Great little boss rush type game here, nice variety of attacks to dodge and a good variety of upgrades that felt pretty balanced! The dialogue is well written for the most part, the music works really well for the frantic dodging of attacks, and the remix that plays on loss really was the cherry on top. Excellent work here, I think we're likely to see you in the top 20 ;)

This is a really fun game!! I've seen the mechanic around the jam but you didn't just give the player dice -- you gave them upgrades too. You did a really good job expanding the mechanic beyond what others have done in a creative way. This is a really neat boss rush and a really good time.

Amazing game, love the concept and the gameplay! I wish the enemy attacks lasted longer tho. Well done!

The dice mechanics are very fun and original and the art fits very well. It has great bosses with fitting dialogue. The attacks were a bit hard to avoid for me but it was still really fun! 10/10

Awesome game, the concept is unique and I like the art style. It gives off an undertale vibe.

Great game! It looks very well put together. I love the stocks boss where the line changes depending on the attack. I also like the puns that go along with each boss!

Excellent presentation and gameplay. The varied dice types and enemy designs really kept it interesting.

Wow this was by far the best game I've played so far. Love the undertale-esque bullethell mechanics, the music was fantastic, the enemies were fun and flavorful, and getting to pick what you wanted to add to your bag of dice between levels added some depth. Really great stuff.
