Ater a few days of testing and rating games this is the one i would be most exited of revisiting if it's updated.

Very good resource management game!
It felt really good to move the resources around to merge them.
I laughed hard when I tried to put a rock on top of a dead body to cover it, and it transformed into a tombstone.
Wish there was I way to skew the probabilities of the dice in the player's favor, to make the beginning less hard. But I don't mean this code-wise. Something more on the lines of having different dices with different number on the faces, like a 4D dice, that would maximize the chances of food production, but forgoes the production of materials.
This has a lot of potential!

Liked the concept and the graphics, I know that when a resource spawns it is indicated but it was very hard to identify it and to realize that I can click the resources, also I would really love to play it with the recipes of the things, because I only got to craft an axe, tried some other things but nothing really worked.

Great game, amazing for such a short time limit and I like the tooltips on the bottom left. Kept me playing for a while. The sea is a bit flashy and annoying, but otherwise the game is amazing.

Overall this is a great concept. With more quality of life improvements this would easily become a candidate to put out as an official title.
And don't worry about the art it's really fun!

Really liked the game. Great design, great concept, a lot of possibility. 

I would +1 all what Johan Helsing said. Also, I played like 35 rounds, what made me stop was a lot of dragging, and maybe the lact of feedbacks. Looking for objects around the map was hard, and I also didn't really know what to do or what was the goal, haha.

Like Johan, I pinpoint the defaults, but this is the game I played the longest so far. I really enjoyed it :) Insane work on 2 days.

Played this one for quite a while. Most innovative and interesting gameplay I’ve seen so far!

Couple of notes in no particular order:

  • Really interesting core concept. Feels very fresh.
  • It was a bit confusing to get started (what is surrounding?), can I control the villagers? etc. With the instructions below it was ok, though.
  • In the start when I had few diamonds, it felt like a bit of a gamble what tool I’d produce, if it was something I needed or not. Not sure if this is positive or negative, though. Kind of exciting.
  • My machine started struggling around turn 20 or so, and the framerate dropped a lot
  • It was a LOT of dragging, which got kind of repetitive, also annoying to do with my laptop mouse, especially after the framerate started dropping. This was what made my stop playing in the end.
  • In the beginning, managing resources and production rates were kind of fun, but after I got the shop and started using coins, it didn’t really matter that much what kind of resources I produced, since I’d just convert the excess into coins.
  • Dice rolls got less exciting the further I got. I had so many buildings I’d always get more or less the same amount of each resource each turn.
  • I really liked the uncertainty and gambling at the start of the game
  • The black and white look is cool
  • but it was kind of hard to see visually what was what, and what needed my attention. Especially since all the buildings are always blinking with their die number
  • It seems the unpaid/unfed counters are buggy? At least it showed zero even though villagers were still hungry or unpaid.
  • I think it was too easy, I never really felt in danger. In games like these I’d rather start over a couple of times, thinking about new strategies to overcome the challenges, but here that wasn’t really needed.
  • Love the yeti! Finally a game where he’s beatable!

I wonder how the game would have been if the map was smaller? I think maybe that would solve some of its issues.

This sound like a lot of negative stuff. But really, this game kept me occupied for a very long time, and it was really interesting gameplay-wise.

I didn't notice any lag on my machine even 40-50 turns in, but there are definitely a lot of things that are coded very haphazardly due to the time constraints so hopefully I'll be able to iron out any performance issues later on. And the dragging is definitely my main problem too. It gets super tedious when you start producing a dozen or so new items every turn. I'm thinking of ways I could allow the player to automate the process, with some sort of stockpile mechanic.

Overall I appreciate the thorough feedback! I'm excited to start ironing some of this stuff out after the jam.

What a great way to use the theme! This game is surely going to be up there with the other good ones. The black and white colour palette is a bit hard on my eyes, and I wish you had a bit more control over the dice, but all in all a great experience! Loved it :)

Really cool resource management game!  I also really like the graphics.  It took me a while reading the instructions to understand how to play but I really enjoy the farming aspect of the game.  It's also interesting that we will have to discover the crafting recipes ourselves as we play.

Great game! Managing the village was super fun, and the element of randomness from the dice made the game unpredictable and exciting. I also loved how you could combine and craft items, villagers and buildings, all around a very fun game! I got 2 villagers almost immediately, then i gave one a sword, then i gave him a poison berry... he died...

I really enjoyed this title, only wishing that perhaps the hint could popup over/near the mouse cursor instead of below the screen. Damn pesky villagers kept asking for "food" and "payment"
