How does your game fit the theme?
The Color indicator on the top of the UI are dice which get rolled at the start of every level and then tell you in which order of color the knight follows the carrots. These dice only roll the first time you play the level (and also the AI is a bit random sometimes, if you want to count this aswell))

Liked the idea of manipulating the pathfinding of the knight towards the goal!
Vry good game concept ! Not always easy to figure out where to put those carrots to move the knight, and I liked it ! The only possible improvement is on the UI of course, but that aprt, music, concept and audio are on point!
This is such an incredible idea, although I found myself trial-and-erroring my way through a lot of the puzzles due to what felt like some ui or pathfinding quirks. I really hope you keep working on this after the jam, I can see it blowing up on mobile. Nice work!
Really cool concept! This could definitely do with a second version, with a lot more polish. But the idea is amazing.
Great puzzle game. Had fun playing it. Good use of pathfinding algorithms. Great job.
The music was quite loud, and with no option to turn it off that made the experience quite rough.
This is insane, seems like to learn about algorithms. The pathfinding too so good. Nice work!
Took some time to get used to but it's a really fun little puzzle game :)
Great way of adding a random factor to a puzzle game without making it frustrating, good stuff!
Interesting to go with predetermined rolls instead of pure random ones!
The idea is nice, a bit hard to be sure about everything but I understood the general concept and enjoyed it!
This kind of game needs a really well-polished tutorial. Kinda hard to do in game jam :D
Hello, me and my teammate have completed 7 levels and we can say that it is pretty hard to predict, where the night will go next because of the diagonal movements and switching between colors.
Moreover, we don't understand the link between the dice theme and the Hungry Knight.
Lastly, the game is pretty unique in terms of mechanic, so great job!
The puzzle mechanic is a very interesting concept, although a little difficult to understand at first. I agree with littlepuly that the visuals could be better (although I don't exactly have enough experience to offer suggestions here).
It is also a little difficult to tell what path the knight is going to take to get to the selected carrot, meaning it becomes a game a bit more about trial and error than puzzle solving. I also got to a level where even in full-screen I couldn't see the finish. I can't remember which one though, sorry.
Obviously we all have to make sacrifices when making games in such a short period of time, so the issues are understandable. If you had all the time in the world, I would focus on making the tutorial more clear and making what the knight will do when you hit play more clear in some way. Perhaps explain a bit more what is going on under the hood (in the code).
This is definitely the type of puzzle game I would play, though. Definitely a good idea, especially given the time constraint.
hi! played the game a little bit, its good that you tried to explore an unconventional mechanic.
visually there is a lot to be improved upon : never use the default unity buttons and text for anything, the games colors are bad- you can try to use a color palette next time.
good job on making a game in such a short amount of time, be proud!
