Really nice game guys! The graphics are top notch - readable, nice looking and clean. The chibi narrator or guide adds a lot of vibe and works really well! The game is very bug free and someone did some solid coding I can tell.

I only would change the dice roll mechanic - it slows down the pacing of the game. I love the idea and the concept but it needs to be change in a way that it speeds up the gameplay imo.

Congrats! - very cool Jam entry you got there. :)

One of the best games in this Jam (clearly) - I really admire how it looks and feels)

Great job!

Perfect application of the theme here into a fun platformer. I like having to run away from the dice when the laser is coming. I think just a couple of tweaks and it'd be good for a full game.

This game is really satsfyng to play no even kidding! I almost played it for 10 mins and still wanting to play it more

That was a fun and chaotic experience, the game reminds me of the flash games era. Also liked the core mechanic of random effect on each throw, really adds a lot to the difficulty of the levels. Definitely feels very polished and impressive considering it was developed in 50 hours. Congrats on finishing the jam !

Loved the presentation, idea and execution, very well made! The dice results are very well balanced, interesting but remaining fair. Sadly the lives system killed my motivation to continue, it completely destroys the pacing of an otherwise lovely game. Apart from that, I really liked it! Good job :)

Great job with this one.

I like moving the dice to the goal aspect. Did have some soft lock issues but looks pretty good. Enjoyed the concept

this game was really fun, but the problems are:

1)the lives just make it harder than it should be

2)if the cube has passed the end of the level it won't spawn anymore, this means that if you are in the level where the cube has to stay on the big button you are softlocked and have to restart the whole game.

3)the game can easily break leading to some weird stuff and even softlocks where pressing the R button does nothing...

The 5th level had a very unfortunate combination of bugs - and the spacing of checkpoints was a symptom of lack of time to playtest. It's especially frustrating knowing that changing a single number in a script could have made the game much more enjoyable for most players :((

I think this sums up my experience perfectly.

Loved it! Played a lot longer than I expected. The idea of random punishment for each throw is brilliant! Graphics and sound are fantastic as well

Developer

I'm happy you liked our idea!

Very creative idea and splendid realisation !! I loved to play it ! I was sad when I died at the level with the big hole and 3 horizontal lazers and respawned at lvl 1

Really interesting! I love the little story the game offers, while also not compromising the dice-rolling theme. The artwork looks super nice and the sound effects are done right. Overall I love it!

Somehow, I got softlocked twice. Both times right after going back to a checkpoint after running out of lives. Pressing R did nothing and somehow I became invulnerable to all damage, and stuck in a wall the other. Otherwise the game is really nice! I only got to the end because you lose no hp when restarting by pressing 'R'.

Developer

It was a really bad stroke of luck that a checkpoint level turned out to be the buggy one, but I'm glad you managed to make it to the end anyway :)

Really creative concept, enjoyed all of the random effects. The restart is a little punishing, though.

I love the idea that the dice you throw have different effects on the further progression of the level. However, I find the negative effects like "laser" or "pew" very frustrating when they happen towards the end of a slightly more difficult level. Having life on top of that is even more frustrating. I then unfortunately stopped playing when I had to play all the levels from the beginning... Nevertheless, I think the game is a amazing submission. It is highly creative and i enjoyed it a lot. Great job!

Nice idea, I really enjoyed it. A couple of the effects were a little unfair like the dice exploding, but it was mostly very well done.

If you make a few tweaks this would be amazing.

It is also really polished for just 48 hours, well done!

I love the little bunny guy! Maybe a touch hard to restart the whole game, but otherwise really great.

this game is beautiful and very well done for a 48 hour jam!

sidenote: i was able to softlock the game when in slow mode and kill the dice... it didnt restart the level and i was not able to manually... couldnt even kill myself

All the effects from the dice are very cool, I loved them! I think it is a bit punishing restarting the game from the start once finishing the hearths (in a jam). Anyway overall game is very well create, tutorial was amazing and mechanics are perfect
