love the smoothing music and the art! the mouse move a little too fast and the zoom in feels like couldn't zoom in to other place. awesome job btw!

Developer

Thank you so much for playing! We are going to work on the controls a bit more after the game jam :)

The controls of the telescope where a bit weird at first, sometimes I zoomed onto a planet, but it didn't register and zoomed to a different one. I really like the idea! :)

Developer

Thank you for trying out our game!

It is not very clear at the moment, but you can follow 6 "paths", each one of them has its own highlights.  It is not possible to switch from one path to another. We wanted to make other paths not visible after you follow one of them, but ran out of time, as it usually happens with game jams :D So you see other planets that are not available to teleport to from a certain point, which is unfortunately confusing... We will hopefully fix that in the future :)

Great game, although it's a bit hard to manage the telescope at first! Loved the color palette as well! :)

Developer

Thank you so much! Yeah, controls and navigation is something we are planning to work on a bit more :)

The art in this game is really nice. I was a bit confused on how to use the Items before reading it on the page, tho. Still, it felt really relaxing.

Developer

Thank you for playing! Yes, we've been planning to work on controls after the game jam :)

Really nice take on the theme! I really enjoyed the ambience and aesthetics :)

Developer

Thank you!

Really loved the art and vibes! Felt like it was a bit hard to aim the telescope where I wanted it to zoom in/out though

Developer

Thank you for playing! Yeah, we planned to make the navigation system simpler, but ran out of time :(

Very relaxing, the music is perfect and the art is superb and original. My only concern was the mouse sensibility that feels a bit too high but that wasn't an actual issue and I've managed to finish the game anyway. Well done!

Thank you so much for trying out our game :) we will work on the game controls and sensibility as well after the game jam!

This was so cool; the art was absolutely amazing, and the music was super relaxing! To whoever did the background for the opening cut scene: that was amazing.

Once I figured out navigation, I got super into the exploration vibe. The story line also added a lot to the game (I liked the tape recorder in space especially). Awesome entry!

Developer

Thank you for playing! I am so excited that you found the tape recorder <3

The art and ambience was lovely!! Great cozy game.

Developer

Thank you for trying our game :)

Very nice game! I loved how each planet was unique, it made exploring rewarding :)

I simply wish I could've played with WASD instead of the arrow keys

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much! I hope you enjoyed exploring :)

Yeah, we planned to implement mouse scroll instead of arrow keys, but it turned out to be not as simple as seems :( Will work on that after the game jam!

The presentation is absolutely lovely, great job. My only gripes are the unintuitive controls and the zoom sometimes glitching, but you still made an enjoyable game that's a pleasure to explore. The game gives such a strong first impression.

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing! I am glad you enjoyed it :)

Yes, we definitely need to work more on the controls and we are planning to do it after the game jam ends.

This really teaches me how to paint!

And it turns all the information into surprises!

The jam game that gets the core of Outerwilds!

I want to see it sold as a complete project

Developer

Thank you so much!

I must say that game jams became the biggest boost for my drawing skills (though there is soo much more to learn lol). When there is no time to contemplate, it is easier to paint :D

I think this narrative game is my tribute to Outer Wilds :)

We will definitely do our best to finish it!

I loved the atmosphere of the game and the way you told the story through exploration!
I struggle a bit with the controls, switching from mouse to keyboard understanding how the telescpoe worked. But it was still a really enjoyable experience, it felt like playing outer wild for the first time again.
PS: I've collected all three items but I'm not sure where to go next :/

Developer

Thank you so much for your feedback!

You are right, we didn't have enough time to set up the controls properly, sadly :(

And it was hugely inspired by Outer Wilds, I feel your desire to relive it again :)

Sorry about the last part of the game, due to a bug you couldn't see the hint: you need to press F once you get all three items.

I just noticed that you said it in the game description, sorry! Hopefully this comment will be useful to someone else :)

Developer

oh it is totally our fault, I believe that should be not forced to read the description to play the game :) I hope that we will release the fixed version in the future where the controls will be clear thriughout the whole playthrough.

thank you for your time!

Truly a beautiful game, I really enjoyed it! I think you really captured the sense of wonder and the endless possibilities that might exist drifting through space. And I think you executed the game play you had in mind really well with the aesthetics too.

Developer

Thank you for playing, I am glad you enjoyed it <3

It's like zooming in with a telescope, but it actually feels like you're moving the camera. It felt bigger when I looked left and right and zoomed in. Other than that, the art, atmosphere, and gameplay were comfortable and fun!

Developer

Yeah you are right, now the navigation may not be as 'telescopic' as it was intended to be...

Thank you for playing!

Really cozy and chill experience ! I love the art direction :)

Developer

Thank you so much for playing!

This is really nice and calming, I love where you've taken the theme. I found switching between mouse and arrow keys a bit awkward, but otherwise it's an excellent entry, well done! 🔭

Developer

thank you so much! i hope you had a chance to read a bit through the story :) the controls are indeed not finished, we will definitely work on that in the future.

Submitted(+1)

love the vibes and style, we were considering doing something similar at the beginning of the jam. Would be a tiny bit better if I could use W and S to zoom but other than that the game stands out quite a bit from the others.

Also it appears that you can zoom out with mouse-wheel but not in? probably a small bug.

Developer

thank you for the feedback!

yeah, we didn't set up the controls properly, so it may be hard no navigate through the game...but i am happy that you gave it a try :)

initially you were supposed to zoom in and ourt with whe mouse wheel, you are right. we will try to implement this in the future!
