that is such a nice game!

i'm in love with the art :) the gameplay is so easy to catch (haha) and it is fun to play. even a bit relaxing in a way :D

i think it would be really fun to see more levels and opponents :) or even a battle with a friend on who will be able to catch more humans :)

thank you!

haha that is an option, as we tried to make some quests easy to understand :)

that is a very cool idea! and a great take on the theme :)

i probably only wish that there was an opportunity to move the items and monsters after you placed them, as sometimes you accidentally click to place something and right after that you understand it was a mistake, oops! maybe you could press the button 'submit' or something after everyone is placed, as it is in a way a strategy game :)

all in all, i had fun!

i love how your game has a very unique style :)

i would probably work a bit more on the design (especially when you are working with typography), so that it still looked the way it looks, but maybe a little more detailed, with a bit more free space around words and so on. the gameplay is quite fast and exciting! i would probably only wish for having more lives, i would love to last longer :D

good take on the theme!

the concept is very interesting!

i would love to be a bit more resilient in the beginning, just to get used to the controls, and then i'll be ready for more difficult challenges :)

the style is so cool! it is polished and spooky, nicely done :)

it was fun! a very good take on the theme :)

a couple of things i would probably wish for:

- a bit more response from my actions, maybe sound or sometning else: first time i disn't understand which unit i chose, cause i couldn't see that anything changes when i click.

- the shooting sound becomes a bit repetitive, maybe add some music that would accompany it and reduce monotony?

apart from that, i liked the game :) the winning screen is epic!

i loved to exciting and easy to learn the gameplay was!

art and music are also right on topic here :)

at first is really fast, you just die instantly haha, maybe a quick and short one sentence tutorial would work here. i also think that it would be great to have a little piece of story in the beginning here. but these are just minor things, the game is very fun :)

thank you for the kind words!

thank you!

we are working on a proper tutorial so that it would be easier to process the information :)

thank you for the feedback!

(1 edit)

thank you!

yeah, we didn't have enough time to polish some elements and work with music, will take care of it after the game jam :)

thank you for playing ^^

thanks! i'm happy you liked it :)

thank you!

yeah, we will be working on a better designed system :)

thank you!

i hope you will publish the right build after the game jame ends :)

haha, quest givers unite!

thank you ^_^

thank you so much!

thank you for the comparison! i haven't played moonlighter, but it looks very beautiful ^^

the style is so nice! and though the version doesn't work properly, the gameplay looks promising :) would love to try the game that you were planning to release.

regarding this version i've got two comments:

- you can skip the intro by clicking with your mouse, which may happen by accident (that's what happened to me and i had to restart the game): maybe lock the intro for the player if he launches the game for the first time?

- sometimes i add some ingredients that appear to give some result, but the recipe in the book is pretty much different from what i have mixed. i wonder if it is intentional :)

good luck with the final version!

i absolutely love the art and the music! so beautiful :)

quite a challenging game for me, i would be happy if the beginning was a bit more relaxing just to tune in to the right wave and to get used to the controls. mazbe one tzpe of enemies at first would also a good option :)

nice entry!

thank you^^ i'm really happy you appreciated the art!

yeah, we are planning on making some additional, more challeging quests in the future and hopefully make it a full game :)

thanks!

thank you for letting us know about the bug! we will check it

glad you liked something about the game. we are going to work on more user-friendly interface in the future :)

it is so nice to see a quest giving game that has a different take from yours!

i liked it, the art is cute and the idea is clear from the very beginning :) the quests are also fun, though i am sad i can't level up from feeding the dog :D

would love to have some soundrack via playing, and probably it would be good to have a final battle with Don Gatto also as a part of game play :)

also sometimes a character that takes the quest comes back to the end of the queue behing other heroes, and thus you cannot see the moment he levels up and changes his gear. it would be nice if this character would always be in the foreground :)

it was pleasure to play!

that was fun! the characters are amazing and the quests are so fun :)

i would love to have some kind of intro and to know more of their world! and some tutorial on the mechanics too :)

i also got an impression that the second time i had to pay i paid more than it was mentioned in the dialogue (10 instead of 5 coins and skulls)... inflation nowadays is crazy :D

great entry!

wow, i'm so impressed by what you've done!

the art is fantastic and the story is engaging: it defenitely keeps the tension ^^

i couldn't figure out the room at first as the hint is very subtle, as you have already said (dead end helped but i would never got it without knowing where to look) it also  feels that there is a bit too much punishment for using the mechanics that actually let you play through the game. i wish i could begin from the point where i stopped and not start from the very beginning :)

and the hand was so scary when it first appeared, i jumped a little haha

one of the most unique entries, i had lots of fun playing  and would love to know how the story goes on :D

aww those cute cats! no matter that they are dangerous haha, i love them

being not a fan of tower defense, i enjoyed this version as it was so relaxed and chill-paced :) i was not very successful at first, but the last round got me victory, yay, as i got so much money compared with the first ones :) i would probably love to have a bit more money in the middle of the game and a bit less in the end to make the difference not so drastic, but perhaps it was only my concern.

had fun! such a nice entry :)

that was hilarous! escape from the room gone so wrong :D

i am so impressed by the writing and how engaging your story is. the only thing i would possible add is some music :)

great adventure, great take on the theme — one of my favorites now <3

i like the idea!

it was also great to have controls explained in the beginning. i would probably add the main goal of the game there too, like "collect coins, defend your puzzler!", smth short and simple :)

maybe a couple of lives for the puzzler would be also great, just not to be extremely nervous at first haha

good entry! and very stylish :)

that was very addictive!

i love how you need to turn your head a bit to follow the balls, and the tension is really cool :)

maybe the only thing that i would love to have is some variety not to get used to the rhythm, maybe changing the colors and the aesthetics of the levels or some powerups.

i had fun, great entry :)

i love the mix of roulette and puzzle, very clever idea!

the gameplay is also fun, one question is -  is the goal in the endless mode the same? should i always help the blue team? i was not sure at first, as this rule seems a bit random, if i can say so :)

it is also really easy to miss that you can click on the table in the normal mode - i clicked on the roulette automatically at first hahah, maybe some visible hint would be nice here.

i also like the name of the game, though i think this Cruelette is not cruel at all :D even pretty nice sometimes!

great entry :)

a very interesting idea you got there!

i love how fast paced the game is, and the aventurers seem super nice :) the art is incredible!

does the level of an item matters btw? i think it would be fun to have some challenges like crafting an item of a certain level :) the ending would be also nice too! i feel that my shopkeeper worked really hard and deserved a reward :D

nice take on the theme!

very nice experience!

i love how dynamic and smooth it is :) the art also looks very nice!

the only two things i was wondering about are what the meaning of the game name is and why you use the statue's head as the main hero :) just curious, maybe there is some additional meaning? a little story would be nice even for a shooter, i believe :D

cool idea! i had fun playing :)

first i tried without reading the rules and thought that two cards of the same vegetable would bring me luck haha

after looking into the rules it got much easier! love the mechanics of spotting the rabbits, a bit of detective mode ^^

would love to have an in-game tutorial :)

also do i understand correctly that the only way to finish the game is "stop the harvest button"? if that is right, i would prefer to see some encouraging words there, like "good job!" or something depending on my score instead of "game over" :D

great take on the theme!

very interesting concept!

i love the way new mechanics are introduced, step by step, easy to learn :)

the atmosphere is also very nice, it is so cool to have such a low paced vibe in a platformer. you're a monk, you are in no hurry haha

i would probably just check if all the visual elements are consistent - now some items seem a bit more detailed than the others.

much nirvana fun!

i just love the lo-fi vibe of your story!

the concept is also original, and it was a pleasure to travel with the characters for a while :)

i love that you have several stories that are little pieces from somebody's lifes and i can feel that these dialogues are important to them.

one comment that i'd like to add is that i would probably love to have more connection between characters' profiles and their dialogues. maybe i'd love not only to feel their mood but also that the information i got plays some crucial role later  or lets me know them better :) or maybe add a couple more details about them? just to  empathize with the characters more.

the art is also beautiful! so calming to watch the train going :)

thank u so much :)

that was super cool and engaging! one of my favorites during this game jam :)

i love how you can play it several times and every time there is a different story created. the art is also so professionally made, and i love how you can feel main hero's emotions and embarrassment :)

one remark i would probably like to make is that the cross button probably doesn't associate with the map so much - maybe some kind of a map icon or so would be clearer.

great entry, much fun!

thank you :3

first time all those professional debuts almost ruined everything for me :D

the concept is so fresh and unique! i really enjoyed playing :)

i would probably love to have a bit more of control, as sometimes you are doing great and everyone is happy, but then a couple of actors leave and you don't have enough left to entertain the audience :(

maybe an ending after you got the audience absolutely happy would be good :)

and as it is sometimes hard to remember the actors' names, some 'profile picture' or something like that would possibly be of great help as well!

i also thought that it would be even more engaging if there were some theater sounds, like rounds of applause :)

lots of ideas after playing haha, your game definitely evokes emotions!
