I really enjoyed the game, the SFX were used so effectively in this game. I really liked the art style as well. The only thing I would say is that the fish having some physics would be nice as sticking them to sides of other fish, without support blocks or hanging them feels a bit off. Really great game though I will be playing more!

Great looking game and it's fun, I echo comments from others saying that it needed something more to encourage replayability, some music and speeding up of the difficulty change over time would make this much more interesting to keep playing and beating my high score. Good job on your submission!

Liked the idea using a blow fish, having extra ways to get lives was essential to survival and the simplicity was fun. I'd like WASD controls, and maybe some more pick ups to give bonuses or something. Great work!

In a way we had a similar idea of 'fitting' the size of the shape before moving on, the controls were responsive and easy to understand. Wish there was some sound in game and an update on the simple shapes, even just adding eyes would make it more engaging. Great work though!

I liked the idea of using cards however I've never been good at scale with shapes 🫥 so I wasn't very good at the game. Enjoyable though, and good use of theme well done!

Love the aesthetics and what I perceive to be an anime girl, having her find a way up is great. Great work!

I really enjoyed swapping between the two characters and working out the puzzles, great work! The only critique I have is that the background music get very repetitive as it's such a short loop, so maybe add more or make it longer. Well done!

Why are those water droplets so adorable! The escape out the cloud was made very difficult because once you picked a couple droplets up you were far to slow to beat the descent. A nice way to use the theme and the SFX were spot on, well done

I liked the nanobots little sprites, the game was an interesting take on the theme and I think maybe this would work well as a puzzle game as well, with smaller levels but other challenges to face (white blood cells thinking you're the germ invasion as you're a foreign body  for example). I've seen you intend to develop further in your comments, so good luck and I would love to see more when you're done!

I think maybe with a change of controls all the issues with them that have been mentioned would be fixed, having left mouse to shoot, and the mouse movement to move the ship would mean that it's more intuitive. Also once you lose your gun you may as well just quit because you can't fight the enemies any more. I liked the SFX and the ideas in game though and with some polish I think it would do great, well done

Fascinating game, liked the ideas within. I unfortunately got stuck in the fourth screen (I think) once I died to the archer I couldn't press retry, it just didn't work. Loved throwing my axe at enemies, that was a nice touch. So much potential, as others have said, would love to see more!

Great game, different enemies are interesting and the game keeps you engaged, loved the stats screen. I didn't know I was collecting fish scales until I was told, I assumed maybe ammo. I would say that the gun sound gets a bit repetitive, so maybe add a randomness to the pitch? But overall really enjoyable well done.

Well done for submitting in a game jam, that's an achievement in itself. The game looked really colourful and I can see you had a vision for where it would go. I hope you carry on adding to the game and enjoy the process of doing so!

Such a hidden gem in my eyes, the puzzles were interesting and easy to understand, the music built to an epic soundtrack and showing the time it took creates a want to play more and see improvement, honestly loved it great work!

I got zoomed off the map, and it's hard to find your way back unless you know the direction you went off in, so I would add an arrow or have invisible walls to help this. I really like using the mouse to resize, it was fluid and felt nice. Add some colour, points or maybe a timer to beat and it would be a fun challenge. A great start to something which could be extended into a fun game, well done.

I liked the idea, though if I die I have to restart the whole game to play again, so I would suggest a restart button for more replayability. Fits the theme well, good work!

I like the idea of the bath overflowing, which gives more space to play in. The ducks are so cute, I wish there were sound to give some more immersion. I think the controls could be made slightly easier so that you're not fighting to get the bits quite so much, or maybe something which is trying to take/kill your ducks to add a challenge.  Keep adding to this I can see so much potential :)

As others have said, it's not clear even after reading your page instructions, though with some playing around I got an idea of the game. Would make the background another colour maybe and have the camera be either further back or separate from the block so the player can see more easily. Well done though, interesting idea!

Such a nostalgic game with the visuals and music! Loved the little parachute, so cute 🪂

Hi Lime, some of the things you've mentioned have been noted, specifically the speed issue. We are going to make changes once the game jam is up for sure based on players like you giving us a wonderful insight into what didn't work as well as we would have liked and what did.

This being our first GMTK game jam it's all been a great learning experience. The leaderboard is a great idea for future additions and potentially other game jams we may join. Thanks for taking the time to comment!

Hey thank you for the feedback, unfortunately we didn't have time to add the saving feature as others took priority to have a playable game loop for the jam, but definitely something to add in the future, appreciate you!

The pixie has been something we've realised wasn't translated to the player as well as we would have liked. It effectively divides a bug in two, e.g a two sized bug into two one sized bugs. Thank you for taking the time to comment it's very helpful!

FROG 🐸 👑 Thank you we intend to improve after the game jam!

🐸👑 FROG!

I know, so wild! The pixie is used to effectively divide the size of an enemy e.g size two worm into two size ones. Thank you for the feedback as we can use this to try and make this mechanic more intuitive or easier to understand with edited level design or tutorials.  Loved you game also! Frog gang 🐸👑

Love the vibes and art is so pretty, super cosy game. Thanks for rating our little froggie <3 Great way to fit the theme!

Great little platformer with interesting puzzles, art is cute and fits the theme well done! 🐸👑 P.s Wizard Lizard is the antagonist in King Sized Frog, nice to see what he gets up to when he's not resizing our crowns XD

That makes a lot of sense, balancing is difficult. In such a short time you did amazingly though!

Really enjoyed my time in your game, was jump scared by a mask lmao! Unique take on the theme, great work

Great visuals and SFX, gameplay a little repetitive, so would like to see something more in the future but it's really stunning!

I liked the music and vibe of the game, interesting and unique way to fit the theme!

I liked balancing my tower, I did find that moving the very top flat often meant that I clicked the pause menu button accidentally, but was very fun and pretty game!

I think having one button be selecting and assigning a task would have been better, but I like the concept and management game. After 3 little guys it gets a bit slower, so maybe add another mechanic to keep it interesting. Good job.

I would have liked to have sped up the game as parts were slow, but I liked the card pack mechanics!

Great little game, as I mentioned the controls made it difficult to progress, but I enjoyed my time, good job!
