I really liked the concept of this one, really solid idea and execution! I really liked the limited color palette art style. The movement felt really nice.  Solid entry, looking forward to seeing if development of this continues!

Nice job. I would focus on making the game funnier and add more mechanics.

It took me some time to figure out that there was more in the first level if you go down but aside from that, I liked the game. The dashing was a fun mechanic and the reverse stealth was a very creative idea. Well done!

Thank you! Yes, the game needs a tutorial, but we didn't have the time to put one in (even though it was essential)

Hi!

I like the idea and I think it is well delivered to the player. The walk speed is great and I find it very cool with the darkening of the screen when in the dark. It gives a stressful but fun experience.

I did though not really understood the meaning with the different difficulties and got lost in the end of the first level when I came to the book. So maybe look over how easy to understand the subjects is and try to balance it with maybe hints or maybe some sort of slowing down the "eye meter" when coming to a new section in the beginning (With triggers or something).

But all in all, great potential and fantastic design! Love the beginning!

I hope this opens to a itch game page so I can follow the development process if you wanna expand the idea because I think you have something real cool on your hook! And that this was possible in 48 hours is just amazing, did you even sleep??!

Well, fantastic done and keep it up man!

Thanks for the feedback! We're going to continue to improve the game with the feedback we get :) Indeed we didn't get much sleep, but that's all part of the game jam lol

Hi! Long time no see.
In general, I would say this game looks amazing and its concept is great, but there are a few things I feel like could be changed about its execution, although some of these aren't exactly applicable to the game jam setting. First of all, I understand that its a minimalist art style, but when the game revolves around staying in the dark while that 'dark' is just pure white in the game feels a bit unintuitive. I personally really like the difficulty level of the game, it makes it a bit challenging to complete, but with its simple controls quite easy to pickup. However, in certain levels, it can get quite annoying to have to wait for the guards to go to a certain point before continuing although whether to address that is your choice. The sound effects are spot on for this game I feel like, they complement nicely, but don't take away from the minimalism, but the music feels a bit to cinematic for the style. One more thing is that if you do decide to further work on the game, it could be beneficial in my opinion to push more into the museum theme as right now it does feel a bit more like a top-down platformer(? if you get what I mean), where the theme of robber doesn't really affect things that much. In conclusion, I love the art style of your game and its concept, but in certain areas I feel like they could be made to be more compatible together. Good luck on your submission! :D

Thank you for all your detailed and pertinent feedback! :)

There's still a lot of polishing to be done to improve the quality of the game.

I think we'll continue to improve the game once the game jam is over :D

This was absolutely nerve-wracking and I loved how many cool game mechanics you were able to bundle into a 48-hour game!

Wow - art direction is awesome! The gameplay is also really fun and a cool concept - if a little hard :)

Art is clean and minimalistic but that makes it work great. The idea of a thief giving back what he stole is very fun. The game difficulty is quite high though, but it may be only me. Don't like how you constantly need to spam dash to pass levels, it makes it hard to control your movement but overall great and enjoyable game.

Really cool game! I really love the atmosphere. For me the volume button somehow didn't worked and also you could make those UIs a bit more cleaner, i.e better sprites, but overall great game!

Very clean presentation! I was able to read the game real well (except maybe doors but I saw the comment about them) Otherwise very fun and a great balance (on medium at least lol) I would be interested to see what other levels could look like

Cool stuff ! I'm not sure why the thief would need to be constantly visible, but it makes sense in terms of gameplay. I like a lot this kind of minimalist esthetic, it's both beautiful and highlight perfectly important gameplay features.
A few things that I think could be improved :
- doors look like they are vision zones, they have the exact same flat red look, which is okay once you know it, but it's not really clear
- I totally missed the indication that there was a dash at the start, so I found the beginning of the game really hard. I discovered its existence by doing random inputs when I got blocked at a point where it was impossible to pass without dashing
- I would add a bit of cooldown to the dash, and make the death take a bit more time, because currently it is necessary to spam it to pass most of the obstacles

Overall, that's a really cool game ! And congrats to the music composer, the soundtrack is pretty immersive !

That was an excellent game! The idea is very unique and well implemented. It's super fun to plan out your perfectly timed dashes to grab wallets with the moving vision cones. I played on Hard until I got to the room with the double key doors. I'm not actually sure if it's possible to grab the key on the left on Hard difficulty so I switched to Medium. The visuals are awesome, I love the colors and the little line following the player looks really cool. Honestly, my only rel problem with the game is that there isn't a tutorial screen in the actual game (I had to check the Itch page to learn you could dash). Overall, one of my favorites so far!

Thank you for your feedbacks :) it's true that a tutorial would be very useful, it's something we'll be adding !

Wow awsome game. I love the idea of thief that want to return stollen good. The look of the game is great. If I would need complain about something a would say that dificultiy is a litle bit high ( may be skill issue :-) or because I play on keybord ). After all great game, good job.

Super polished game with classy graphics, tight responsive controls and the right a mount of challenge. Makes for a great experience overall. Definetly one of the best games from the jam I have played so far! Congrats!
