I killed my alternate self so fast the first time because I did terribly. Really fun concept and definitely one of the more unique hunter/hunted ones I've seen. Great job!!

Creative concept with fun execution. I appreciated the thought that went into level design and the dual paths.
Interesting implications for speed running, and I wonder if there would be a way to reward variation between runs, like automatic caltrops? Overall, great job and I'm excited to see if you do decide to continue working on it!
Fancy graphics :)
It's hard to beat your new record right after you created it ^^
Good for speedrunning, I ended up with 1 minute and 15 seconds, which is bad I think, but I still enjoyed playing it. Good job!
Great idea, great twist! It needs to be improved to make the core concept more interesting, for now it can be simple if we just are slow on our first run. Well done!
I really like the game and it's atmosphere! But the cost of a mistake is too highXD A good game for speedrun:D
Awesome proof of concept. With a little refining of the controls and some more levels this would make an excellent game. I like the drastic way momentum is lost if you make a mistake, and the time it takes to get it back, it makes mistakes feel meaningful - however, sometimes the mistake isn't the player's fault. In my opinion the jump is ever-so-slightly too low, I'm talking a few pixels' worth of height, just enough so that the player can get over ledges from a standstill. That, and for some reason the jump is sometimes VERY high. Very fun! Well done :)
at first i was confused how this fit with the theme. I played it like a normal game and then.. Boom I'm chasing my past self, that was so cool! I did terribly on my first run so i caught myself pretty quick
This is so great! Loved the mood and the atmosphere, and the role reverse moment was super well done! I wasn't great at keeping my momentum up, but when I did get a little streak going it felt super satisfying!
That's a really gorgeous and great game you have created. The only problem I had with it was that I very often lost my complete momentum and gaining it took too long which made the whole game feel quite slow. If you'd maybe change a bit about that I'd just love the game.
But none the less it's a great jam entry. Keep it up!
Well done! This was a lot of fun. The art and music meshed well together, and the platforming was satisfying.
Really dug the idea of this! Also neat how the theme reveals itself after the first run. Like some folks said the pacing felt a bit weird sometimes but overall nice jam entry!
Amazing game! Super cool idea, and super polished! Controls felt a little unwieldy at times, but ă͕lļ͖̈͊ ͙̏t͢͝ḥ̟̐͘e ̠̏͛͢b̢͙̎̚ę̮͐̚t̜͙͐͒te͊ͅr͚͂ ̲͑̏͜to̰͒ ͉̩̅̂g͙͗e̤̦̔̚ṭ͛ m͔̙̃͠e̙̬͆̓ ̱͘s͇̑o̹͕͂̊o̮̝͐̎n̨̚e̯͍͊͠r͂ͅ.
10/10, love it!
Main mechanic is interesting. Though it seems like performing well on the first run is a bad thing. Aesthetic is really awesome, especially with the text and effects. I also had about a half second of input delay (probably Itch being weird).
The idea is good but the gameplay is a bit weird, its either really fast or really slow, but overall i liked it, good job.
