Unique concept. Had fun killing the player in various ways.
You can use the powers in the initial cutscene. Which was hilarious because I killed the player before the cutscene ended. Then I had to kill him "properly" again.
The timer text doesn't stand out. Like some other people, I assumed that the text at the top left was the timer. It took a while to realize that it was the one on the right... I think some sort of animated hourglass icon would be a better fit to represent your remaining powers.
Great job!
Thank you ^^
This was super interesting, how did you do the cool ripped screen effect? I think there was a bug or something because I would have a big timer left but then it would be red and I would not be able to use it.
Thank you very much :)
The effect is done via a shader i had left around from another godot project i was working on :)
Oh, the timer shouldn't be on the left. But the timer turning red and limiting your time manipulaiton power is intended, but not well explained.
The idea is nice but I think it is too short. When I get how to play it was over, so it is a bit sad.
I had planned more levels, but sadly time was very short and i was already investing a lot of time in this project. (from the 48 hours of the jam i spent 31 on this project. ^^")
Short, with an Idea that could be expanded to a much longer game. I think that most of the ideas explored could work with longer levels and more mechanics where you can kill the player.
OMG, thank you for playing my game in your stream ^^
I have some ideas i would like to implement.
Maybe i'll do so afterwards.
Creative idea but the game was very short. Would love to see this expanded!
Really liked the intro sequence. The gameplay could use a bit more development. I also think that a better indication of remaining power would make the game better.
I like the concept though I wish it was explored further. It would be great to see the power cooldown (maybe even represent it as an hourglass). Great job!
P.S. Good thing I didn't skip the credits lol.
You got me good with the pressing escape while the credits were about to roll lol. This is a good idea with a good execution of it, well done!
Cool game! I liked the story; the music choice and presentation of the text made it feel very dramatic.
The mechanics were interesting and played alright, but I think it would be improved greatly if there was a better visual indicator of your “power” charge. Something like a bar would make it much clearer to the player how much power they have.
In any case, enjoyed my time with this game. Good job!
I like the idea, I think it just needs more levels and a better indicator of how the powers recharge. Maybe you could add an hourglass that fills as you get more power and empties as you use it
Uhh, good idea :D
Very short, Game exit was crazy, overall a really fun experience :)
Thank you :)
Sadly i wasn't able to rewind in real life to make more levels ^^"
Cool concept! It was extremely short though (the intro movie took as long as the game, and the controls work during the intro btw), and at first there was some issue where I could only stop or rewind time for a second before it would go forward again. Neat game though!
Thanks for playing :)
Well this needs to get fixed after the reviewing time ^^"
You're time manipulation ability is limited and you gain some of it back but only slowly. I think every 4 seconds 1 second back.
Maybe i should have added a better ui showing this to the player :)
Yeah it said something about going red/yellow as it recharges but I never saw any color change from red. Maybe it starts red and I was inputting too fast for it to fully recharge. Regardless, neat concept and enjoyable game!
