if i have any real complaints it boils down to a lack of explanation on how break works. Otherwise it is a fun game with some difficulty curve based hitches, such as the spear being mostly worthless (for combat) when you unlock mages shortly after and have too large an army to really participate beyond commanding attacks tactically.

Sorry I missed to rate this during the rating period. Really nice entry, which mixed puzzle and action elements. I liked the way the mages worked in particular, in that you were incentivised to break them to attack enemies; it subverted the mechanics you'd learnt during the game well. I think the game would benefit from a smoother difficulty curve, and better indications about when particular enemies are about to break. A funny level design "bug" I found was getting myself trapped in one of the early rooms (attached)! A clever entry, all the best with it!
Fun concept, I like the idea of enemies joining your party and making you stronger! Also really liked the pixel art and the music. It was a bit tricky to keep the party formation intact, but that was part of the challenge. Good job for making this in 48 hours!
Really brilliant game concept! Turn your enemies into your ally and change the formation of your "army" to attack new enemies and pass those corners and corridors? That was so much fun! Nice work! The level design is also pretty good and I kinda like this BGM. Overall, this is really good work with 48 hours!
This game has some real work put into it, and it shows! The combat is intuitive, the movement is great and the extra controls of allowing the player to manually choose how everyone attacks is an amazing addition! This is a fantastic game jam entry and you should be proud! Well done!
The game is really fun and challenging!
I really had a lot of fun trying to complete the puzzles.
A really well-made game with lot of content for 48 hr jam, overall an
Amazing entry!
A lot of fun maneuvering my army through the maze. The game is a little loud though. Can't wait for more enemies to convert to my side
Interesting take on the theme! Sadly I kept breaking the formation, but that's on me :(
Good job for getting this amount of work done!
Nice game with clever puzzles. The controls with J and K are a bit unvonvenient and clumsy. The music is a bit to theatrical for my taste, something more deliberate would have been nicer. But overall great work, lots of content and clever design for a 48 hours jam.
funnily I made a very similar game a year or two ago for the Wizard Jam:
Maybe you can check that as a source of inspiration ;)

This mechanic seemed pretty boring and mundane when I started but man it really surprised me! it not only gives a great incentive structure for killing enemies but also makes moving very interesting on it's own, imo any mechanic that can make moving fun has done a great job. the art is fine but it lacks a sense of cohesions, polish, and juice but it's good enough for a jam game. I wish I had been able to get past the second floor to see what else this game has to offer but everytime I tried to arrange my characters to push all 6 buttons they died. anyway great work I'm impressed by how much content this has for a jam :D
Thanks for playing !! Indeed moving itself is interesting and makes this fun imo. I didn't realize this until I built a tiny prototype and it brings me hope xD
I have heard some players complaining about the 6 buttons, I admit it is very discouraging when slimes broke and one has to startover ... sorry for this. Already nerfed but still hard.
Wish I could tune levels more and the presentation (art / audio) but I had no time ;w;
Again thanks for playing my game and comments !!
Fun mechanic that I would love to see expanded further and polished, seems difficult to do justice in the timespan :)
A simple yet profound game that will be addictive for a long time once the product version is released!
really awesome idea, unfortunately i got stuck on the second floor, i think i ran out of enemies to take over :,D
Nice game! really interesting take on the concept, a mix between puzzle and rpg. Cool Stuff
