It is great to have a story with graphics at the beginning of the game. And the camera cut-ins when you defeat an enemy are so cool! I couldn’t figure out how to defeat the first enemy and got killed many times. It would be good to know how many more attacks to avoid to feel progress.

Very interesting concept! At first, I didn’t know what to click on the bar at the top of the screen, and the slime got me many times. The setting of the main character being confused in his first fight was well used in the game’s battles and was very original. Good game!

It is a good concept that is calming. The sound is good. I like the configuration where there is a TV and games further inside the game screen.

I like pixel art graphics. The rules are simple and easy to understand, and I found it immediately interesting. It fits the restrictions and is an original idea.

I tended to lose bullets in rapid succession. When restarting, it would be helpful if you could guide me as to where bullets are to be fired. Good game!

The idea of using a stun gun to numb the enemy is not seen in many other games and is a good, original idea that meets the limitations.

I think it will be better if there is a sound to increase the taser-like effect. It would also be nice if enemies who are hit by a stun gun would stop instantly. Good work!

I love the pixel art graphics! The difficulty level was thrilling and enjoyable. My fingers get sore from clicking the mouse too much. lol

The story and operation explanations immediately after the start of the game were detailed and drew me in. I like the effect when one’s ship is destroyed. It’s nice to slow down and hear the heavy bass.

It was a very beautiful pixel art world, and I was able to get into the atmosphere. As others have commented, I found myself using the E key after one round of exploring with my space key, so it would be nice if you could indicate that the E key is enabled at the interactable points. This game is awesome for the duration of the jam!

It’s a platformer that solves the limitations well, I see! I was impressed.

It will be more fun with sound next time.

I love the GameBoy-like retro-style graphics and background music! It is a good game system that fits with the limitations of the jam. I would like more trial and error, so it would be nice if the shuriken could be fired more often and faster.

This is very unique and interesting. It reminded me of the feeling of playing the Made in Wario series, which I enjoyed. I like the mini-game where you have to go through the train, which is indescribably difficult.

I really like the story displayed with the typewriter sound in the Intro because it creates a great atmosphere.

I am glad that the controls are easy to use and can be played right away. It would be better if there were explosion effects when enemies are destroyed.

Very good idea, fits the restrictions! It feels good to reach the door at high speed.

The sound of the gunfire continued after I cleared the room, so I thought it would be better to turn it off.

Thanks!

Thanks for your comment! I had a look at your Youtube video. I’m glad I watched the video because I realized that I had set the difficulty level too high. I also should have made it clearer in the game that the individual reels can be stopped with the 1-9 number keys.

Thanks!

Thanks!

It certainly made the gold cost to re-spin the slots higher. The more you re-spin it on the same floor, the higher the cost. The next floor you go to, the cheaper it will be. I will fix the gold cost lower after the game jam evaluation period.

Thanks for your comments!

thx!

thank you very much! You are right, and we would like to refine the HUD in future works.

thx!!

It was very simple and easy to play, and I enjoyed it until I cleared it. It’s good that you can retry immediately. I’m looking forward to playing more levels. It’s got a nice little retort vibe to it!

I could feel the atmosphere of a retro arcade game perfectly. The character animations, the UI, and the non-gameplay presentation are all well-crafted and awesome!

The game had a pop and retro feel to it, and reminded me of many NES games. The title animation and text feed sounds are well done. I have a desire to launch attacks while jumping as well.

If you download and play the game via the itch.io app, you won’t have this problem, so I’m sorry, but I recommend playing it that way.

Thanks for the report! You’re right, there is a bug. I’ve reproduced it myself. The GameJam version doesn’t allow resubmission, so I’d like to update it after GameJam ends, if it can be handled. I apologize for the unplayable state of the game.

I really like the hand-drawn graphics with the main character’s animation! I thought I’d try to defeat the skeletons anyway with an attractive protagonist. One thing that bothered me was that the movement was a bit choppy at times, probably due to the light, and the music switched frequently, which changed the atmosphere a bit.

Great job creating a game with this basic system and mythological atmosphere in one week!

I think the storytelling, camera direction, and Chapter display before it becomes operable is very good. I would like to use it as a reference. I think the color palette should be adjusted, because the color of the bird and the color of the water in the background were very similar. As you can see in the screenshot, I would like to see an animation of the bird flapping its wings.

Great pixel art! The overall atmosphere of the game, including the sound and graphics, is so good that I have the feeling that it could be released as a product if the game system and enemy variations were refined.

I also like clicker games, so I had the pleasure of clicking on coins to save up resources and use them to build buildings. I would have liked to see a storyline and an explanation of the effects of the buildings.

Great work! I am amazed that you can produce this quality in a week. Once I polish up the gameplay, I think I can release it as a product. I found it a little frustrating that the combat was just watching each other’s numbers decrease little by little. Overall, a very good game.

I felt the beginning of survival, such as being able to plow the fields and sow seeds. As you can see in the comment below, I was confused when I tried to cut down a tree and couldn’t do it. It may be intentional that some of the trees are set up at an angle, but I think it would be better to set them up straight.

Graphics and expressions that are appealing at a glance. I especially like the art style of the mosaic pattern on the title screen. I liked the way the story was explained in text during play. I wanted to see the rest of the story, and it kept me motivated to play. It was a little difficult from the start and the slow movement was a little stressful. Overall, I am satisfied with the game.

This is the graphic style I like. The Pixel Art on the title and ending screens was also well done. I enjoyed the simple game rules and controls right away. I think it would be more exciting if the final boss battle had some kind of gimmick or different music.

I like your dilemma with the score and the bullets! It shows the fun of the game. I think the next one will be even better with sound!

Ingenious, and it’s been fun imagining the game world! The concept of carrots picking up carrots and defeating peasants is very good. I feel that it would be more fun if the battle portions were accompanied by background music.

The unique worldview really caught my attention! Returning to the spaceship to refill your ammunition is a little more realistic and fun. Why the moon was eating me was a mystery! Haha!
