Seems to have a lot of potential for something I would spend hours into, but I just couldn't understand how it works.  I think mainly it needs more feedback of what player's inputs are doing. A tutorial would be nice too.

I really hope you work on it further because it already looks amazing and has a great atmosphere to it.

Quite confusing at first, but I really like the concept behind it :)

This game is fantastic and very strategic. It was a bit confusing at first but once I understood how to make connections for the lighthouses it began to make sense and I tried out a couple different strategies to get it effectively.

A bit overwhelming but the design is really nice!

This game is gorgeous ! I love how it fits the theme, how you chose to represent it. I would've liked to have more control over the units, especially warriors but otherwise it is a nice aleatory strategy game.

(the zoom/unzoom pixellation is so nice, is that the "pixel perfect" setting on URP cameras ?)

As others have said it needs a tutorial. I'd like to put more time into it to learn what this game can do. It looks impressive. But sadly demanding a lot of time from people so they can learn your mechanics during a game jam isn't a good idea. Looks like it could be something special if you give it a proper introduction though.

Feels and looks like it could be a nice game, but has a hard learning spike to start with. Some easier tutorial levels introducing you to the mechanics would probably help.

I liked the general take of your game on the theme. However, I've had some trouble in both gameplay and in how to play screen. It was hard for me to understand what does what as all things were clamped together. It would be better to seperate the information into several pages or write them in a more understandable way. Also adding player feedback and guidelines to the game would make the gameplay much more enjoyable. After all, great game with unlimited improvement options. Good job!

I really liked the game! The graphics were extremely fitting and good, the gamefeel was great and the music fit in perfectly!

About the balancing, it felt really hard sometimes for no reason. Sometimes I also felt that the AI was acting dumb, one enemy could kill 10 workers because my soldiers didn't go kill that one guy.

Great game and well done!

interesting idea, plus it was fun to play! good work :)

Love the design, visuals, and world of this project! It feels really good to control and the soundscape just complements it all into a full package!

The one issue is that when you first drop in it feels kind of like you're hopping on to one of your older brother's mid-game saves after quickly looking at the guide book. Without a tutorial to ease your way into things it's a bit rough. This game does feel like something you could expand into a full experience though and still is a really good good and unique mechanic for the jam theme!

Great job!!

This thing is awesome, quite a unique thing to attempt to make during a jam and what you managed is impressive, even if it's perhaps not the most "playable" thing ever haha XD I did notice that at a specific middling zoom enemies became visually identical to ally workers and it confused me a great deal for a bit. Overall a cool concept and it'd be interesting to see it continued to be developed!

Tricky, but I feel it'd make a good game to run in the background while you amass units~
The difficulty curve is perhaps a bit too punishing, I'd already depleted my nearby resources before getting my first lighthouse, but you mentioned that on the page already~
Did hurt to have even large groups fail but what can you do... (if at times a little frustrating to have a worker gathering resources right next to a lighthouse, but no apparent way to tell it to move that extra bit and fix it)
Honestly... I had fun, even with so little direct control~ nice work!

This game really looks cool, and I like it in theory but I found it unplayable. It seems that no matter how many soldiers I spawn the enemy has 3 times more, I wasn’t able to capture a single lighthouse and it seems my workers have more of a taste for war than my soldiers :P

Everything about the game is really cool, except it is basically unplayable (by someone who didn’t make the game :P )

The art is amazing, impressive mechanics for so little time, I found it a little bit hard to understand at first a nice tutorial would help, but great work!!!

Controls for unit spawning is listed wrongly. Also, would be nice if there's some way to close the right panel other than just click a button that does something else.

I love the concept and the presentation is just *chef kiss*, but the difficulty needs A LOT of rebalance

I tried it about 4 or 5 times, and I was not able to repair ONE lighthouse. My math must be pretty bad because I failed so many 99% successful rate mission it's not even funny.

On my fifth playthrough, I swear the enemies just started spawning in triangular number (1,3,6,10), because I legit saw 10 enemies spawn at once. It was 2 minutes into a game and none of my units lived long enough to move out of the light, it was I think at that point I said fuck it  and stopped.

Impressive game for 48 hours! Had fun playing it.

This game might just be as impressive and well done as it is complicated :D

Sarcasm aside - a ton of work went into that and with some tutorial/easier access it would be really cool experience.

Hey thanks! I think I got a bit carried away making the AI and I overcomplicated some systems to the point where I barely understand them (not to mention balancing) and I appreciate the thoughts. I have uploaded a videotutorial but it is 13 minutes long which perhaps says something similar to your comment.

Pretty good AI and a fun sequence but just not enough player agency for me. Its just a hard thing for auto battlers to nail just right XD.

Thanks! If I make another like this, I will definitely take that into account. I didn't get the core loop down until very late in the jam, so unfortunately I ended up over-automating away what could have been fun gameplay. I appreciate the perspective!

Excellent!
