The presentation of this game is great. I know that you mention in your description that you chose the style because it hides your abilities, but it does more than that. It gives the whole game a simple design that benefits the whole package. I also loved the ideas behind the game, and would love to see that puzzle design evolve after we're able to edit these games post-Jam. Great work!

Creative puzzle mechanic that made my brain hurt ;D

The presentation really stood out for me. A consistent artstyle (including the bit music and sound effects), with beautiful color palettes and the level of polish you would expect from a store-bought game boy minigame.

Fun game! Love the limited move idea, really makes it challenging.

Sorry for not getting a chance to play your game during a stream but I am running out of time and had a hefty amount of games to get through so I am just playing and rating at this point! Thank you for your understanding :D

Really good puzzle design and mechanics, and there's a lot of content for a game jam entry! I really like how the latter puzzle designs mix up when you want to hold onto blocks with the magnet and when you don't. The retro Game Boy aesthetic is also really well done and the visuals area really easy to read. The current difficulty is pretty good I feel and it would be interesting to increase the difficulty via either additional mechanics.

I think with the current set of mechanics, one thing to explore is levels that require you to have magnets attaching other magnets (IIRC none of the current levels have that?)

Very good puzzle game, the difficulty really starts to ramp up when you get the magnets.  You nailed the classic Game Boy feel.

What a lovely game! Making puzzle games always feel so tricky for me but you just nailed this one so well. Great job!

What can I say but elegant, this game plays like a really well polished game I would bump into on my spare time. Feels great, sounds great, and looks fantastic! I really enjoy games that take this clean approach to jams keeping things well contained with focused controls that are fully explored!

I would love to see this fleshed out even more post-jam! Perhaps with board rotation mechanics that flip things but all directional boxes keep their direction or so? I feel this game could totally be carried on post-jam to a nice mid-sized release :)

Good job!

A really nice puzzle game!

The concept is simple, but forces you to think around the magnet before either one of your keys or one of the boxes gets stuck somewhere in the stage. The art style is good too, showing only the essentials with nice colors and simple pixel art.

Very good job!

Good game, I got stuck at 3-3.

Great Puzzle!

I think (not sure) it would controll much better / more easily using the mouse, clicking the arrow blocks to move them and clicking the magnet to enable/disable

This is the best game I have played from this jam so far. Kudos to you.

Very cute! I sat through and quite enjoyed the entire game and I've think you've done extremely well making this game!

Good things:

Lots of small things that help bring together is the variety of music that makes the game rather pleasant and enjoyable especially with the different areas and resulting color palette.

Great sound design that gives player feedback at every play input. Great visual feedback to let the player know what blocks the magnets are attached to. Overall, lots of good small things that bring the thing together!

Caveats:

The puzzles sometimes feel easy and sometimes feel extremely difficult. The pacing is a bit off as a result which is probably a result of a lack of varied mechanics.

To be fair, I also can't really criticise from that basis simply because you were developing on a time constraint. Although may I suggest, that should you continue developing the game, that you can consider adding more mechanics, or different sized/shaped rooms to better pace the difficulty?

Great game~

Top notch presentation! Well done.

Wow, this is really good. World 2 is really really tough though, too hard for dumbos like me haha. The art is really good and the mechanic is innovative and original. Congrats

Really and surprisingly deep brainteaser. Nothing much else to add really, nice abstract concept and well design overall. Future versions could maybe do with an undo action or even a "record steps" action to reduce tedium, but that's more suggestions than criticism.

Cool game. My only complaint is that World 2 Is "Two" (Pun Intended) Hard.

Besides that, cool and fun game.

I  would be very happy if you would play my game.

Really cool mechanic and great level design! I also made a puzzle game for this years jam but I feel like your levels are better thought out :)  The presentation is very solid too, music, sound and art go great together, great job!

Would be great if you could check my game out and let me know what you think :)
