Neat idea, very entertaining
This game is really fun once you get the controls down, I only wish the ball was faster and having the player die by hitting the ball with the head would add some difficulty to this.
Overall, very nice concept and execution!
Really cool combination of games ! Fun to play, nicely done
This interpretation of the theme is interesting! and the games you picked work really well together. nice job :)
cool idea, combining two classics, to create something that feels fresh and new
Took a while to figure out the goal, but when I figured it out it led to a fun time! Clever name and good execution.
Cool take on the theme, and clever name! I felt like once you got the hang of it was pretty easy—avoid hitting yourself or the wall and be patient—and could use something extra to add difficulty, but the core gameplay is really solid. And nice job adding songs for each of the levels, got to level 3 and they were all good!
Fun mashup! Its interesting how both our entries are breakout-inspired but we chose to retain different elements from them.
My only feedback is that I'm not sure how I feel about the snake dying when it touches the edges, since originally you can disappear of one wall and reappear on the other side and that might've been a cool feature to retain.
Also, Very smart interpretation of the theme! Good job!
Thanks for the feedback! Looping the snake around the edges was one of the things we discussed but didn't get to implement in time.
The first level kind of felt like the snake didn't add anything, but by placing the bricks in the middle or around the edges it really makes it a good mash-up! Well done
This was pretty fun! It's a mix of two classic titles, and it works well, and makes sense instantly!
Well, I would not say it is better than Tetris and Arkanoid.
But the mashup is fun, indeed.
Haha I got to say I enjoyed TwoGames one Score more than I care to admit. Thx for checking this one out!
Great mash-up. I love that you get to control the shape of the "paddle." Found an issue where the ball got stuck bouncing between the top of the screen and the blocks.
Wow, cool idea, and it is really fun to play with the speed up function and powerups! Nice works!
A good combination!
This is the game I never knew I needed, there's a lot to like in this mashup! Would be cool to see what polish and additional levels you can put on it when you're not stuck with a 48h window!
Thanks a lot! We too were pleasantly surprised by the great synergy both games have. On concept it seemed nice so we tried it and was really better than expected. Indeed wonky mechanics are hard to fix on a short time but thanks to comments like this we're thinking of developing it further!
The Losing a Life Screen doesn't respond to my button presses, which means that I have to restart the page after each death. I managed to reach level 2 after about eight tries, and then had to restart at level one.
Besides that, the look and sound of the game is very cool, and having the lose condition being the snake game, but the win condition being breakout, makes this a wholly unique game to both, while requiring mastery of both.
Great job!
It takes a while to wrap your head around controlling the snake like a snake and not a breakout paddle. But it's very fun over all.

Combining the breakout with snake is really clever, and works surprisingly well.
The bounce angle of the ball is a bit problematic; as a player you have no consistent way to affect it, and if you get unlucky you could get the ball bouncing almost horizontally or vertically, never hitting blocks.
I think it was a good call to let the ball bounce on the bottom floor unlike in breakout; the snake game over mechanics already add enough challenge!
An elegant combination, but I have to admit I was confused at first, like why I coil around myself and the ball wouldn't propel as it hit me :< I agree that the pacing of the game is a bit off, maybe you should add more particles or physical impact to let the player know he is doing well. Good job for pulling the concept successfully!
