Good game, Though I stuck in 1-6, but it's a really a good experience.

The game is really good, I liked the concept. The only thing that's missing is an undo button

This was pretty well executed. I think the puzzles were well designed, though a bit tough to hit par. I appreciate that you aren't required to get that to progress, though. Also, showing a preview of the levels in the level select is a great call. Nice work!

I really like the concept and challenge of the game. Good one!

Nice challenging puzzle game! This game really made me think ahead about what I was trying to do, especially if I wanted to finish in the minimum number of moves. This planning aspect is something that I love in puzzle games, and you did it very well.

As for criticisms, there was one minor inconvenience that I had with the game. Very rarely when switching between the mage and the prophet, the characters would move very slightly to the left or right during the flip animation. For most levels, this was not an issue, but I ended up going out of bounds on 1-3 and into the death circles while not moving on 1-5. I couldn't quite figure out how to get this to trigger consistently though.

Other than that, this was a very fun game and original concept, and I loved trying to get below the minimum steps. I got 1-5 all the way down to just 8 moves!

I love how the puzzle creates the cool visuals, the game looks really good. I think the orbs powers are very strong and I beat the levels sometimes by randomly switching, but its a good twist for this kind of game. Really hard to come up with a minimum move strategy but I enjoyed it by just trying to beat the level.

Very cool puzzle ideas!

One of the most polished game I have seen in the jam so far, and one of the more clever puzzle designs also! Level 5 was more difficult than other levels, but I managed to solve the rest well (still take more steps than required though). The sound effects were gorgeous, and the visual was top-notch, feels sooooo satisfying to switch between characters only to mess up by moving them randomly and creating even more obstacles :DDDD I'm not a puzzle enthusiast, but the mechanics was executed in such a clever way that I stayed until the very end.

Here is my other suggestions for future content:

- Make even more diverse environment between two worlds, like when you are in the light side, you can walk certain path but not when you are in the dark side, and vice versa.

- Instead of insta-death magic circles, add traps that force you to use one of the two sides instead.

- Consider reducing the amount of steps required for the solution (the longer the more frustrating), but reapplying lessons you learned in the previous levels. If done right, the player will feel smart solving the level even though there is no new content!

That's all for such an excellent work, you really nailed it even though this is your first time! I'd recommend this to anyone! FULL MARKS!

Nice game! It had great art and audio . Though not a new mechanic, it was reintroduced in a new way, which made it extremely interesting to play around with. Great job!

very cool and nicely polished, one minor issue is that its pretty hard to see the highlighted cells with the shadow guy, other than that great work

Wow @FinisValeth its a very good concept loved the puzzle and their difficulty curve, it seems polished too though I think the train could be made slightly better and wall hits sound could be changed to something a bit better, but overall its a good one :D

how do you even come up with this stuff? great and polished

Fun and creative game but I seemed to die on a few random spots on the first level with the death circles and I don't really know why.

Developer(+1)

Thanks a lot, I already discovered that bug since I forgot to disable the collision with these circles while flipping. Technically there is only one solution to this level so it is quite hard. I will make a video on it soon so players can go past it!

Very Polished and the Concept is unique. Love it!

Developer

Thanks for playing, hope you enjoyed it!

The visual effects you used made the game x1000 time better.  I like the idea of switching characters and how you could make a puzzle out of it.  Good job :)

Developer

Thanks for playing, I have to admit that my visual effects were a bit epileptic at times, but glad you had no problem with that. Also hope the puzzles were not too challenging or confusing :(

the concept was awesome,  there is a lot of room to make interesting level with this mechanic.  the death balls were hard to see when switching from the yellow wizard to the purple wizard. but the game kept me engaged.

Developer

Thanks for letting me know! The death ball level was the only one where you can technically "die" so I didn't spend enough time polishing it.

Pretty fun game. It can be difficult to see exactly which circles are tagged and which aren't, as well as the circles themselves. The slide movement does feel great, as well as the SFX when you hit something. For level design, I would recommend lowering the amount of slides for some of the levels to 10-20: 50 slides can be fatiguing especially if it's just doing the same thing over and over again.

Puzzle games can be hard to make, but this is a great start. Good work.

Developer

Thanks for playing the game! I will definitely highlight the circle and make the level a bit more clever to exploit!

This was an amazing concept, There were some issues with the death balls killing me when I switched and my character got stuck and wouldn't move but outside of the bugs it's just amazing

Developer

Oh wow thanks for telling me that bug. The circles were there for only one level so I mistakenly ignore testing it, apologies :<

Looks awesome! Sometimes had some glitches with swapping and dying instantly. Puzzles were definitely difficult!

Developer

Indeed, first time I made puzzles though. I spent a lot of time but consequently some of them turned out pretty boring or frustrating.

Friggin love this. No notes

Thanks, your game was excellent also!
