I really liked the aesthetic and the game was well-polished given the 48-hour constraint. The concept of having to split your attention between your heart and your weapon is unique. The only true recommendation I can give is to change the font to something that looks more arcade game-ish.  Well done!

Thanks for your feedback! Glad you liked it :)

Nice arcade game,   a score système would be nice. The last lvl is a bit weird, what was the point of a lvl were nothing can happen and then send the layers to the menu ?

Could play it with friends with a little more polish :)

The last level is supposed to show you who the winner is. The one with the most kills is on the left, while all the other players are on the right :) Thats why it has a "1" in the left background in the final level, although it may be a very unclear "1" :D

Ok, that makes sence, I was testing with just 2 players so it was unclear :)

Wasn't able to play since my girlfriend is currently away, but I like the aesthetics of the game. The glitchy music was too convincing and I thought my sound card was actually about to die haha. I think this game looks fun so I'll come back to it in a couple of days to give it a proper try and rating!

You can play it online using Parsec. I hope you have fun when you can finally play the game.

Cool idea and nicely done. I really like the usage of the effects.

Many thanks for the kind words!

For everybody who wants to play the game but has no one at home to do so with, we tested and played the game via Parsec which worked pretty well. Parsec is free to use: https://parsec.app/

Really nice concept but the game had a small ammount of problems.

First of all, it was the wrong time for that type of game. Due to the pandemic most people can't still visit any friends and thus are unable to play the game.

Secondly, playing from the controller felt really weird, the pc had a big advantage, although I am not sure if it is fixable in any way...  (and it might also just be my personal preferences that formed this opinion)

Thirdly, the game doesn't support dualshock4 controllers which could be a really big dissapointment for a lot of people. (Of course you can use DS4WINDOWS to bypass the problem but most people don't know this.)

But other than these notices the game looks like it would be a lot of fun and a nice thing to bring as a surpise on a gaming night. Really looking forward to play it with some friends after the carantine is over.

Thank you for playing,

For the first point we already knew that going in to the jam but we thought that multiplayer was the way to go for this game. We did not want to implement online multiplayer as it would have brought many more problems. The way we tested and played the game was via Parsec which worked surprisingly well.

I totally agree with the second point the aiming for the mouse and keyboard player is far easier than for the rest of them. However as you said it would be very difficult to circumvent that issue, we could have not supported M&K but I am sure that most of the players will appreciate the M&K support.

For the last point we could not test it with DualShock4 controller and we simply hoped that the Unity Input System supported PlayStation Controllers.

Thank you again for your feedback.
