So, there we have it.

Very fun shooter, I died and replayed waaay more often that I'd like to admit!

I really wondered if using Eject when you were alone would instantly kill you as an easter egg, but it seems the devs were kinder than I would have been :D

Excellent job to the team!

Flawless shooter with an awesome core mechanic! Loved everything about this game it's extremely polished and the detail for being slower together is great! Perfect game!

Nice and well balanced frenetic fun there :D

I thought the mechanic was really well done.

Very interesting.  The tradeoff mechanic was definitely noticeable, though I wasn't quite sure about the hearts mechanic's interaction with the number of people you had, or whether there was one at all.  I do wish that enemies couldn't fire from "beyond" if they were already completely off-screen, if they weren't going to come back themselves.  If you're doing a polished version it might be good to stop the progression once you die (I was sitting on the dead screen and then got a warning about having to fight a big enemy and there was the boss, even though I was dead already).
All in all great thematic addition to the jam.  ^_^  Cheers.

Thank you for the feedback! Def agree about the screen scrolling and enemy bullets. Regarding the hearts, they aren’t related to the eject mechanic at all, just so that there isn’t too much of a negative while removing ships.

This was *suuuuper* fun. The risk / reward trade-off for having more than one ship was really well balanced, and the art / audio went really well together. I don't have much to criticize here, aside from maybe lowering the audio a bit. Fantastic entry - great work!

Very fun! I love the retro vibe of this and I love the challenge! Great work!

A really fun and well polished game! The graphics and music is amazing and I had much fun with this concept.

This is such a simple and incredible game. I loved the sound design and the whole presentation, and I loved the risk/reward element of the gameplay. Honestly, there's nothing to fault. It's near-perfect and amazing for a 48-hour jam. Great work!

Really nice! I would have continued playing if there had been more content. I loved throwing one of my ships out and grabbing a new one immediately, the boss fight was fun and the game looks very nice. Good take on the theme as well with the power-ups!

Great Concept. If you add just a few more levels you can release it on Mobile in its current form. It is actually quite polished.

Well Done.

BTW, Would love for you to try my game too.

It is an Action Platformer with unique controls.

eject function also the bomb attack = super effective design! btw, at the beginning, I also want to build a game about spaceshooting and have simple cute little spaceship, cool!

oh, forgot to say, the bgm super good!

Amazing game, good idea of balancing power with control and encouraging to let go of ships by making them completely eradicate everything on screen

Submitted(+2)

Very epic! I like how much impact joining ships has on gameplay. I loved the eject effects, definitely the juiciest stuff I've seen for this jam!

Submitted(+2)

Very cool and clever use of the theme. I like how you implemented the risk/reward system of what it means to be joined together and what happens when that connection is broken and the arcade v-shoot'em up works really well for that. Nicely done

Nice another space shoot em up! Really awesome game, looks great and sounds great, solid mechanic and a nice boss to boot, well done!

Submitted(+2)

Such a rad lil game! I looooooove these kind of space shooters and it fits in with the theme well!

Great game with fantastic art, sounds and music, but at few things:

1. Would´ve been nice if the tutorial said you can also use the mouse instead of z and x, because that´s much more convenient.

2. Checkpoints would´ve been awesome.

I hope the feedback helped you, it would be nice if you could check out my submission too. :)

Thanks for the feedback! We started with mouse controls, but we realized that mouse controls are tough for people using laptops with trackpads (a.k.a. me lol) so we wanted to focus on buttons. If we make an update, we’ll make it clearer that there’s multiple button options!

Oh, okay, makes sense!

Very catchy music and such a good retro feel, GJ!

This was really addicting! The mechanics and gameplay are great and it’s made even better by the satisfying audiovisual feedback when you destroy ships. Good job on this one!
