Thank you so much!

What a cool take on the theme! Using your space of control to control a larger entity is really rad. A lot of times it feels really clunky right now, maybe if the controls were easier to get to, that issue could be remedied? Otherwise, really want to see what else you could do with this sort of game, and I'll definitely be on the lookout for future updates!

Really simple yet innovative concept! Would love some smaller objectives to work towards, as well as some better control options, as picking up turnips was extremely difficult given their hitbox. Would love to see you guys take this further : D

simple yet clean lil game! great work coding these minigames in such a short amount of time

SUPER SEWER 128 is an infinite platformer with a few too many glitches, adapt quickly to get the highest score you can! Made for the Indie Tales game jam by two people in 48 hours, if it seems like your thing, give it a play and a comment!

Beautiful art and really interesting take on the theme! Being able to move the arena you fight on, and use the arena itself as a defensive tool is sooo satisfying, especially with the great sound choices. The difficulty curve and tutorial feel a bit confusing at times. Maybe giving the player time to use both the punch and explain when to use the big push might make it easier for players to get into the game, as after the tutorial you're pretty much right into it with no learning time. Would love to see this game refined and tweaked, as the concept is so strong!

So, there we have it.

Thank you for the feedback! Def agree about the screen scrolling and enemy bullets. Regarding the hearts, they aren’t related to the eject mechanic at all, just so that there isn’t too much of a negative while removing ships.

Really interesting main mechanic! Unlike anything I've played for the jam. Once I figured it out, it worked fantastically, but for a while I was completely stumped as to what the point of switching was. Making that clear in game would be great in an update!

Really cute concept and character design! Gameplay was really lacking, I could only make it to around 50-60 until I was too bored and quit. Maybe something that affected your timing or what logs to hit could make it more interesting!

Thanks for the feedback! We started with mouse controls, but we realized that mouse controls are tough for people using laptops with trackpads (a.k.a. me lol) so we wanted to focus on buttons. If we make an update, we’ll make it clearer that there’s multiple button options!

Really impressive amount of content for a jam game! At first I was extremely confused, but after a while, I got the hang of it and had a great time. :D

Very tricky, but super cool concept! Shocked you managed it in 48 hours. If you had more time, I think some in-game explanation to the main mechanic would be helpful, as I didn't know momentum played into the connection until after a few minutes of experimenting. Great submission!

Now THIS is a top tier game! Super simple mechanic executed fantastically, and the 3d/pixel art aesthetic adds so much to it. Great work, I hope this does super well!

Very cute! The difficulty curve is for sure a big issue, but overall, a simple mechanic explored well!

Really great idea! Reads really well with the clean visual style. However, I think the double jump isn't that well explained. It's a kind of mechanic that rarely is in games, so having it be so integral to gameplay without explanation caused me a lot of confusion. As well, a lot of the puzzle are just dealing with small scrolling/falling spaces with spikes, and I think that with stronger puzzle design, your fantastic concept could shine even more. I hope you continue this project into a full title!

Gosh, I needed this! So relaxing after a day of work. The music, aesthetic, funny lil names for the constellations, everything about it is such a succinct experience. Personally, I'm not sure if replacing the constellations on the map itself is the best move, as things get crowded. Maybe in a larger expansion, you could have a lil star booklet or something? Feel like I could get lost in this for an hour, hope to see you guys expand upon the concept!

yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Really tough, but really fun! I wish there was exponential gravity, where it would be easier early on to keep aliens, but tougher near the end. As well, maybe making it more clear that shooting is automatic would be helpful. Reminds me of a WarioWare side game or something, super solid!

(1 edit)

Super original take on the theme! Everything is super crisp and nice, would love to see you take this base concept and expand even further on it, keep it up! : D

Gorgeous art style! So shocked this was done for a 48 hour jam. Got really confused at the start, but once I got into it, it clicked!

No worries! Yeah that control scheme you were using sounds PAINFUL, def will make sure it’s not possible in an update cuz wow.

I’m so glad you enjoyed the game! Movement is bound to the arrow keys, WASD was a hold over from a previous build of the game. I’m sorry you went with WASD, honestly we should’ve removed that input method, or made it more clear on the side bar. Would recommend trying it with arrow keys, or using left mouse to shoot and right to eject, which was also another method left in the build!

Wow, the amount of content in this game is massive! The gameplay started to get a lil stale by the end of the first level for me, but once the second hit, it was a blast. Sprite work is gorgeous, and I love how gameplay is also joined together, but with a timer. Fantastic entry!

Wow! Gameplay was completely different than what I expected, and that's great! This is almost like a precision platformer meets a space shooter (without the space ofc). Presentation is fantastic, one thing I'd recommend is starting maybe with an easier first stage? As well, tweaking some of the hurtboxes to be a smidge more lenient would be nice. Overall, fantastic submission!

Really cute puzzle platformer! Love the setting and mechanics work fantastically, all I have to say is add more levels :D

Played a lot of tether games, but the introduction of the colored platforms feels great! Only suggestions are maybe some more lenient hitboxes and a quicker respawn. Def polish this up and keep making levels!

Fantastic work! I've played a lot of "You play as two entities" games in this jam, but the addition of merging together to make a new power really added some spice to the formula!

Wayyy too relatable. Beautiful art, poignant story, this is a fantastic entry, especially for someone new to making v-novels!

Absolutely beautiful! Was a really relaxing experience, the character designs have so much life. Will def play again after a long day of work to wind down.

Really solid entry! Having the two modes of play, running away to let enemies combine and firing head-on is really satisfying. Random levels are a nice touch too! Would love to see more power-ups, and maybe some charge pickups!

Such a neat concept, executed fantastically! The quality and amount of levels is amazing, with some more visual and audio polish, this could be a fantastic lil puzzle game. Hope to see you continue it!

Really great submission! Solid difficulty curve, great music, cute smiley on the main character, what's not to love?

Simple mechanic done SUPER well! I adore this, as it causes the player to both defend and prepare for their next attack. With a bit more juice and polish, (maybe some new enemies or power ups?), this could be a fantastic lil arcade gem.

I love this game so much! Simple visual puzzler, and the collaborative aspect is fantastic. I love the character, the effects when you put down a letter, everything really. 5/5 across the board, super inspirational!

Love the momentum and stop and go of the game, super fun lil game!

Love the concept, unlike anything I've played so far! I would love to see this maybe incorporated into stages, like what if you have to make connections match a picture or hold something? Hope to see you continue work on it

Really solid example of taking a simple mechanic and rolling with it, I'm not the best at these sort of games, but it's super polished!

Really solid lil puzzler! Perfect amount of difficulty for my post-jam brain, had me scratching my head a bit later in.

Really clean, love the particle system! Super simple, but has a lot of charm from those extra details.
