I enjoyed this game :3 Original and fun, but hard at first time of playing :D
Anyway, good job :)

Good concept, great execution.

Definitely an interesting concept and a pretty well executed game overall.  I'm currently just getting the high score.  But otherwise the only real critique I have would be the rope length and the controls.

Specifically I'd say the rope length in comparison to the screen is a bit weird.  The rope is quite long in comparison to the relatively short height of the screen leading to a lot of situations where you end up just barely falling off just before or just after a grab.  So I'd say either shortening the rope, or more likely zooming out the camera would really help that.

Otherwise though a few points:

  • Adding some ability to remap the grab keys, and possibly the movement keys just to make it easier for people to adapt to the semi weird controls.
  • Moving between the two walls across the middle gap is an interesting idea for adding some extra difficulty, especially because it's pretty in line with the climbing concept.  Though I'd say in my experience it seemed pretty difficult to cross the gap with momentum, but crossing it with both characters just flying across the screen actually worked a little too well.

World Record right here ^

I really enjoyed this polished little experience. Great work! I'd love if you could check out my game as well btw :D

this game is not really original (i played 2 other games with the same idea) but its the best one so far! you should change controls to arrow keys instead of IJKL.

Pretty fun and unique concept. Having to control two players is a gimmick that hasn't really been explored in this jam, so kudos to you guys! I really like the personality the art gives the game and it greatly enhances the game. The game overall was pretty fun (though I don't see anyone reaching the 384 million miles) and the energy bar mechanic makes it so you have to coordinate each character and manage which one would be the one that does the heavy lifting, which was pretty satisfying once I was able to pull it off! My only complaint was that the rope is too short. Crossing the gap is just so cumbersome, especially due to the fact that you have to do it in such short amount of time before the boulders fall on you. Despite this, it was a pretty fun game overall and a great interpretation of the theme!

I like the concept a lot. I think this would make a great two player game. Its really difficult to control both at the same time!

Nice game, but I found it a bit unintuitive/confusing, that the fingers for releasing/holding are not mirrored ("o" and "e", but I kept pressing "o" and "q")

I agree. Nice art but these should be the controls.

Thank you for the feedback! We'll look at adding options for a possible post jam version.

Nice idea and a good presentation. I think the rope was a bit short and the time span I could swing was a bit short. I really liked the animated tutorial.

I liked it, but the rope could be a bit longer.

First of all that banner y'all made looks amazing and sets such a good tone for the game.

The game concept is also cool and overall the game has a great charming vibe to it, really nice job.
