Flash back to working retail, love using the crowd rush as 'the storm'

pretty spooky!

Theme connection feels a little weak, but nice game!

I think the best name for the snail is tooth

It snail quest

The jump, it's really noticeable how long it takes for a player to get to max height and how dependent some jumps are on that. It can be accounted for but I think it'd make the overall movement a lot smoother

I think this game looks amazing, some minor tweaks to player movement and you've got a great recipe brewing. It'd be helpful to have a map of some kind, or for the level to have lead you to your goal a little more directly. But overall great game!

Not often that you see a well put together beat em up for a jam! I think making the endings the part that ties into the theme rather than something that is part of the core gameplay loop means most people won't see the connection though. I enjoyed the auto combo system and selectable difficulty though!

Very cozy, thank you Cortez for pointing it out as underrated on the jam discord! It would maybe be nice to have some time with each date to get to know them a little before being presented with the questions to give insight to each persons personality. It's also not exactly clear what traits do.

I really like the concept for this game, you get a lot of mileage out of it and I think it's cool to see if you can recover when accidentally dying, making it a one time use before you die again is pretty fun.
I think the one thing I'd really like to see different is the player reaching their apex a little bit faster and staying there a little bit longer, would help a lot with game feel.

You made all the guns from scratch? That's pretty slick! I agree with the others that the theme tie in is pretty weak, but it's a cool little gun game experience

I applaud your attempt at a story for an 8 hour entry. That takes effort! The game play was pretty straightforwards but functional. I think for your graphics you'd get a lot of mileage out of using a color palette (there's some great websites for generating them, like coolors.co) It really boosts the visuals on games with simple graphics!

I'd really appreciate if you could give my game a shot as well and tell me what you think!

Pretty fun clicker game! I played until I got my second rainbow watering can. I really enjoyed it when a plant would get lucky and just grow for a really long time before being harvested, my luckiest one was worth 1500!

You play as them every day

Dude this is a fantastic little word game, I got a score of 22, it's very simple and intuitive. My biggest note is that sometimes the font is a little hard to read, pretty much just between O and Q, but that's really minor. Great game

Very cool music, art, and sound effects. Lot's of little bits to add on to the story, gameplay was alright

Your uncle was ripping people off on apple peelers, mine sells them for 12 dollars

Very cool idea! I feel like the meme where gromit is laying down train tracks supper frantically

A proper dungeon crawler :P Takes me back to the flash days. I did notice it looks like you guys uploaded the game twice, you might want to pick an upload to stick with as the main entry to the jam. Not sure if that'll cause any problems for you but it seems worth making sure.

Pretty good first game! One thing I'd recommend is making text crawls a little faster for jam games.

It's a bit difficult but I think it's overall a pretty neat little platformer

cool game with a fun interpretation of the theme!

Very well made! Cool little build your own bullet hell

pretty neat little game, simple but fun

I think you may have uploaded just the .exe without the other build files! Which is a shame because this lizard game looks awesome in the screenshots

oh dang! We had a couple of things that we dropped in the  rush to submit but the game should still run, what part isnt working for you?

Super fun! Some of those blueprints were really clever routing. Great game!

Glad to see that the progression of mechanics read well! It is a known bug, we got a fix ready but didn't quite get it uploaded in time. We'll be uploading that as well as a content patch after the voting period!

Thank you for playing!! We found that issue as we were uploading and just 18 seconds short of getting the fixed version up, but there will be an update after the voting period ends with the full game!

Those honestly added a lot, the sound effects you already have in sound nice!

Really confused about how you're supposed to be doing things in this game? I can click on the enemys with the hammer but I dont know how to use the slingshot to increase points

Congrats on your first game! I hope you stick with it!

Nice game! Very simple loop but executed in a nice way. It might've been cool to have additional mechanics introduce themselves over the course of the minute. But overall pretty nice!

She's so hard to dodge! I finally managed to do it and then set a new high score after eating the speedup cake.

Pretty cool platformer! Although you can beat every level with almost the same movements. Nice fun and concise loop. Really would have benefited from a musical track though I think

Totally get it, such is the way of a game jam :D I'll be sure to keep an eye out!

Ah! I'm spooked! Really cool to see a scary game with some procedural generation in it. Quite hard to build that raft though! While quite polished feeling it was missing some of that juice  factor. Very well made though, congrats!

Genuinely one of the best and most well executed games I've played in recent memory. Feels like a full experience, feels juicy as all get out, and executes on its design extremely well.

It was cool to have such a large area to explore for weapons! The particle effects made everything feel a lot more fluid. The audio felt nice but probably could have been used to greater effect. Screenshake was good, but probably a bit to short  and rough. In this scenario I think it might've been better to go with something that eased between positions since it's more of an impact screen shake than explosion one. Solid entry

Love to swap feedback!

Here's mine :D
