Good concept and implementation. The music fit perfectly and (besides the bug that cuts the game short) it was nice and smooth. I found the hills a bit frustrating without being able to affect the strength of a hit; maybe making the hills less punishing (or preventing the die from rolling over the hole) would have helped that.

Really cool concept! Usually I'm not a big fan of golf, but this was a lot of fun! (It was also super satisfying to get a hole in 1 on the second level. 😎)
I didn't realise at first that the gradients represented hills. Firstly, the fact it goes from light to dark reads to me more like it's going downhill rather than uphill. Secondly, the fact this gradient only applies to the hills and not the whole level seems a bit inconsistent - I wonder if it would read better if the shade of the green for each area indicated which height it was on, with darker meaning lower and lighter meaning higher, and the hill gradients reflecting this as they provide a transition between heights.
Also, shame about the game-breaking bug halfway through! (Especially how you were able to fix it but missed the deadline by mere seconds! I feel for you there haha.)
Overall, I really enjoyed it! The gameplay is fun, the graphics look great and the audio adds a nice and satisfying extra layer of juice. Nice job! 😄
Nice twist on a golfing game. I like the strategy that the dice roll adds to a normal golfing game and its good that you found time to do the vector path casting (or whatever its called). I liked it and i can totally feel with the bug fixing seconds after the jam ended, lol. Still a good job.
love golf games, and the twist with the roll is fun too. simple and fun!
Golf games are classic fun. The dice roll mechanic offers a very creative and unique twist. The start menu leaves a good first impression, the graphics are simple but pleasing, the music is chill, and the sfx are on point. No complaints here.
Love me a mini-golf game :)
Thought the ‘cursed’ was a good twist. Shame about the bug :/ but these things happen, and I still had fun :D
So my thought transition was interesting as I played this game.
- "Oh it's just another golf game. Ok ok..." -> Level won
- "Huh, did I just see that 'my die is now cursed'? -> Next level
- "Ha! Now it really is cursed! Dang, you little die... move as I want!" -> Kept playing and won the level
It provides players good frustration and make us say "OK maybe one more try..."
Great job!!
P.S. I got stuck and couldn't do anything after Level 3. Am I missing anything or is it a known/unknown bug?
Really fun golfing game ! The bar giving you your trajectory is a great idea, I really wanted to play more ♫ good job people.
Cool concept! Over 3 levels, didn't see much in regards to dice effects though. Perhaps each 1-20 is unique? Great coding functionality, sorry about the bug.
The fifth level didn't work for me. The dice wouldn't move unfortunately. I tried it many times but it just stayed in one place. But the concept was cool :)
