Thank you Luveid! Really appreciate your comment.

Hmm, fair. Maybe I will look into randomise the SFX variation. I originally planned to do that but cut it due to limitation.

It's very unsettlingly curious for some reason...

I don't even like horror and yet, I sat there watch things rot one after another. Hmm...

Very nostalgic, very arcade-y. I liked how simple it is, no extra explanation of handholding needed. Great job!

There's no way you made it in the same timeframe I was given! Wow this is a fantastic entry. I felt like Wall-e but in a different planet.

Even small details like how I can draw on the map and have "remaining ink" are amazing. Nicely done!

Ohhh interesting! Pretty simple yet looks pretty effective. I'll have to try that myself.

And thank you for taking that screen cap! Really appreciate your effort, Chroma!

Great entry! I especially liked the visual effect of the game. Skill tree thing is also cool.

I was eaten by rats a few times over until I realize I need to use the mouse to shoot... lol
So maybe a quick instruction would have been nice?

Oh wow, this is so cleanly executed. Great game! Going in, I imagined something gruesome and depressing (also the title is "GRAVE" so...) but it had some warmth in it. I like the life-transferring mechanic a lot, too.

Maybe it had been even better if "life" had a lot brighter contrast to the environment? There's something poetic about life in the ruin like this.

Nonetheless, great entry. Nicely done!

Thank you Cymbalis!
I appreciate you giving it a chance even though it's not really your type of game. It means a lot to me!

Pretty pixel art and music is interestingly catchy...

I had the same feedback on my game but coyote time would have helped a lot, I think.

Side note: My favourite character is the guy who likes ice cream.

This game is actually insane, Dr. Physicist! I secretly love quantum physics and it gave me a bit of experience being one! ... Well, being an assistant to one, anyway.

It takes a bit of learning to play it comfortably but it didn't feel dull to me. Great use of UI elements, too. So cool!

The game play was a bit confusing (like, two games in one??) but overall, it looked so cool.

I mean, you had such a cool opening cutscene, you got my attention there. How did you make that? Are they all Animation Player cueing up everything?

Anyway, I think it's a cool entry. Nicely done.

Honestly, it is pretty impressive that you made this complex UI and inventory system in just one week.

Learning control seemed daunting at first but I liked how the tutorial part walked me through nicely. I also really liked the colour palette as well.

Well done, my friend!

Thank you! It looks like people really didn't like the timing level haha
And you know what, I am not sure if I like it either. lol
Thank you for playing and thank you for a great feedback, though!

I don't like horror yet I enjoyed the game. The visual is especially very well done, it makes me anxious just by looking at it!

I had a bit of performance issue that it took so much time to start up the game but also the game is very laggy once it started running. Maybe it's just me but safe to say, it somehow made the game extra creepy. lol

Ohhhh I didn't know this function exists! Thank you so much for sharing, this is awesome!

(I love Godot! haha)

Thank you, Jet Pistacho! Really appreciate your feedbakc!

I'm lowkey happy that I have "that level everyone hates". I feel like every good game has one of those things everyone hates or dreads. lol

And yes, I agree with you about the sound. I actually did think about randomizing the sound, at least for those decaying blocks but unfortunately, time limit, priority, and my skill level got in the way... haha

The music is actually intentional. I actually had a light, simple beat going in the back but I preferred it to be silent. I thought it gives more focus on the message in each level.

I just randomly came across this game and oh boy, this is addicting!
A quick try of the game quickly snowballed into +20mins session...

Amazing!

Anonymyst, thank you so much! I was not confident about the level progression but am really happy that the game clicked with you :D

It feels a bit bare but it actually has a lot of small details if you look closely and I liked that a lot.

Maybe a bit more visual feedback? Like I would love to know what stage of decay I am currently in more clearly. haha

I think this is simple but can grow into a fun mobile game or something. Cool entry!

I'm very happy that you were able to enjoy it. I do see some points I can improve, too. Coyote time, level design, overall polish... thanks to feedback from you guys!

I'm also happy that you found the message nice and positive. It means my game did succeed in some extent :)

Thank you so much! Really appreciate you giving it a shot :)

This game was so fun. Like very addicting. Every time my battery runs out, that "just one more run" voice kicks in my head and... 20 mins passes. lol

I think I had a mini bug on my end where I didn't get to see the meters n stuff...? I see it on your screenshot but on my browser, not.

I don't see not many people reporting it so maybe that's just me.

Regardless, I enjoyed the experience. Great entry!

Thank you, aloelucidity!

By now it's pretty clear that the most infamous level is the timing one. haha... And your experience is totally valid. It could have been better. I mean, it could have been already better probably if I could have managed to make the control a bit more responsive. Well, live and learn, I guess. Thank you very much for sticking around and still giving it a try!

I'm very happy to hear that it did indeed warmed your heart :D

I really appreciate this type of practical comment. Thank you so much.

Coyote time for sure but you are also right about the "squish". I think I should have maybe added an outline to the character player or something so it reads better. Hmm, maybe I'll find a way to update it after the rating period is done.

I'm also very happy that you enjoyed the game! I'm not much of a platformer kinda guy but it means a lot that you enjoyed it :) Thank you!

The downgrade mechanism is so punishing... and I love it! It is such an interesting take on the theme "decay".

It lowkey reminds me of a Pico-8 game called "Just One Boss", which could totally work with your idea as well.

It'd be even cooler to see this game with more polish. Great job :)

I really liked the design of the knight. I wish I could swing the sword, he has such a cool sword...

This was oddly calming and satisfying. I really like the theme of nature you went after.

I liked how I was able to hear birds chirping as the forest grew. Wish I was able to see even more life! haha

Thank you Secret Reality Studio! Really appreciate you giving it a go.

Yeah, one of big lessons for me to learn going forward is to create good, achievable levels. I admit that I just made the levels, not properly designed them. Sure, time limit was a huge factor but the jam made me realize that that in itself is a skill.

So please don't feel discouraged!!

I'm not sure if the game is working as you intended. I tried to make a promise by clicking the button but it didn't let me. I waited until the timer goes zero but no luck there.

Great concept, though. I love it when games are trying to influence my real life in some deep and meaningful way. I'd like to play it if it gets developed further.

I would have appreciated a bit more explanation about how to play the game...!

Gorgeous pixel art, though! Character design is pretty nice, too.

Control was a bit wonky to my liking and also I wish the characters were a bit bigger so I can see your beautiful pixel art better! It feels like a classic dungeon crawler. I liked the aesthetic a lot :)

Unfortunately, I had to throw away my burger...

It's a fun one. I think I would have appreciated a bit more visual feedback when I killed the germs!

Also the music is FIRE.

This is definitely one of the underrated games in this jam. So good!

I can't read the language used in the game but was still playable. And oh boy didn't I love the "Super Hot" gimmick! Art and music are also super cool. I loved everything about it. Great job!!

* The move key was not A/D, it was Left and Right arrows

I have never imagined that I'd be cleaning someone's teeth today, that's for sure. lol

It's simple but a solid concept. It could be more fun if you had like, tool upgrades and cavity (enemies) attacking you. haha

Oh my god, we had a very similar idea!

I think you did the puzzle part so elegantly, which I very much struggled. It's simple yet very satisfying when I get it right. I have much to learn from your game...

As soon as I saw the poison swamp, I went "Dark Souls reference?" lol
This is such a cute and cozy game while the theme is pretty dire.

I would have appreciate a bit more feedback on a few stuff, like water refill or grappling action!

It's a cool, creative way to use the slot mechanism and I really liked it. It's like a simplified deck builder.

I think this is pretty cool and solid game, I wish I could see the enemy design a bit bigger. haha

Definitely a hidden gem of this game jam.

I love Tetris and you somehow succeeded to elevate the experience with the coziest way possible. I like how it is kind of accurate to how fungi decay all those organic matter in the nature as well (like, surrounding an organic matter and break them down to grow). Great job, loved the game!

Very interesting take on the word "Decay" and great concept!

I wish the orbit started a little slower (or my reflection was a bit faster) and gradually picked up the pace.

I liked the nice touch of different messages every time I failed. haha

Hey 11bitbay, thank you for giving my game a try! A great comment, too. It really means a lot.

I'm usually not much of a platformer guy but somehow I happened to make one and boy was it hard! lol
But I'm glad to hear that it left a solid impression on you.

The gimmick with the word; One word is hidden in each level and if you connect them all in order, it will form the sentence you see at the end. It's actually a quote by a very famous musician ;)
