The swapping mechanic was an immediate moment of joy for me, felt intuitive and relaxing. I always enjoy breaking peoples puzzles on stream and seeing their reaction, so that a bonus point for me :D

Great game! Especially great if you can goad someone into playing co-op (as I did). Probably the best puzzle platformer I've played so far this jam!

I love the concept, and the puzzles were very well thought out. It can sometimes be a bit confusing which hand controls which character, but I can see this working really well with two players.

Developer

Thanks! I intended on adding a singleplayer control mode where you control one character at a time, but I unfortunately ran out of time to add it

Loved the basic narrative for the game !! Even I had a similar idea for my game with a split screen! You can check later. Cheers

Really clean and solid idea especially for a 48hrs and learning a new engine.  Even though they are the same shape, just different colors, I for some reason attribute them characters and I see the red one as the slow/heavy/brute while the blue one is the small/fast/smart one.

I really liked the concept; it’s great that you can play the game alone or with a partner, and that to complete a level you need to bring both characters to the heart. It’s a game that highlights the importance of teamwork. The game naturally increases in difficulty progressively and feels really good. Excelent game. Best regards!

Thanks, I appreciate it :)

I like that this can be played as a single-player game, or with a friend. I had a little bug in which a crate falling on top of a character would prevent it from moving. Aside from that, this was very enjoyable and I could totally see it becoming a full game. Congratulations on your first Godot game too!

Developer

Yeah that seems to be the most common complaint, I might fix that as a post-jam update. Thanks btw, it was a fun challenge to a game jam with a new engine, and I actually really enjoyed using Godot

This was delightful! Characters are charming, and the puzzles are fun!

Developer

Thanks :)

Cute game! I like the puzzle designs!

Very nice! Interesting idea. I'm not sure did the puzzles the intended way. You can cheat the physics a bit by jump boosting the smaller character and stuff like that. But still very enjoyable! Good job!

Really cute and polished! Good job

Developer

Thank you!

Fun little game with cute characters. Maybe a bit to claustrophobic to have to navigate with two characters at once, but since the levels are not so dificulty, eventually you can find your way.

Lovely game! Nothing to add, nothing to take away!

I mean... CUTE. These simple shapes can communicate so much and that's just amazing.

I love the puzzles, too. There are definitely some "Aha!" moments in some levels. Maybe this could grow into something bigger. Nicely done!

Thank you, this means a lot! The two main things I was aiming for with this game were a simple but effective art style and well designed puzzles (while I admittedly didn’t spend as long as I was intending on the puzzles), so it’s great to hear that thought this!

I loved soloing Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons so you best believe I was absolutely delighted knowing that I was going to get my brain tied in a knot. Great fit for this theme!

very neat. bit simple but still very fun and polished. Physics are a little weird when a player is ontop of another but nonetheless fun to play.

This is soooo cute!!! I love both the boxes. The music is wonderful and the puzzles are implemented really well. Playing this solo, I feel like I broke my brain like 6 times in the best way possible. Great game! Well done!

Check out my game, Reformless, if you get a chance!

Thanks, glad you liked it :)

pretty simple idea and mechanics but very polished and really nice level design, sound effects, art, and music! could see this becoming a full release someday

Developer

Thank you!

Great game! Fits the theme well, also just food use of basic co op platformer mechanics. Honestly love the music will now be stuck in my head.

Developer

Haha thanks, glad you liked it! :)

It is a great game that fits the theme.

However, sometimes the Enter key didn’t work properly.

Apart from that it is a well done game.

Developer

Interesting, I didn’t have any problems with switching sizes (in the final build). The only thing that is a little weird is that you can’t switch if the big guy is standing on the small guy, or at all while in the air (although this was intentional). Glad you enjoyed it though!
