Thanks for the review! Totally agree that in the state it ended up the game is very unforgiving in a lot of ways and we didn't get to incorporate a lot of the ideas we wanted to by the end. I haven't heard of doodle jump but the main game we had in mind was Whirly Bird a simple game made by google.

This game was dope. Love the concept! Would like to see more levels. 

Yea keeping the scope in mind is good. I like the fruits as an added challenge I just think the design is pretty light making the game feel a little shallow.  Great Job on your first game jam though! 

Thanks allot for the feedback and for playing.  I intended on having some indication to what the buttons did but I did things kinda far for the game jam so it turned into what it is now. 

Cool idea, was fun but allot of time form e the arrow would disappear making it next to impossible to know what was happening. Still when it worked it was good.

Cool idea! Pretty fun and a little on the hard side, but I think overall with some more time could become a really awesome game.

Loosely connected to theme, Design is very conflicting you seem to need to explore a little but the flame makes it very annoying to play. 

Kinda cheated the theme, and very light content not much to gauge design. Unique idea.
