How does your game fit the theme?
You are building cars as a mechanic. The more time goes on the more your business scales in size, meaning the more cars you have to build and manage at once.

It seems I can't rate the game any more but I'll comment anyway!
I had a bit of trouble loading and playing the game smoothly and for some reason, the car didn't appear as I made my moves...? There's a good chance that I'm doing something wrong.
But anyway, I can feel a solid concept is there, just it needs a bit more polish!
Lol that's feedback we've gotten a lot. You have to back all the way out of the buy menu to see the car! Will def change for future patches, and thanks for the kind words.
Wooo... A very excellent concept, Music is lovable and graphics too.
I wonder if this game get more polished It will become very cool game.
Very happy to see some unique go on the theme, next year I will also try to ideate more unique.
Thanks so much!
Unfortunately even in full screen it's not scaled right for me, a lot of it doesn't fit on the screen; I've included a screenshot. My resolution is 1280x1024. Car management in 2D sounds like a fun idea though. 🙂
Thank you so much for letting us know about this issue. If you wouldn't mind, could you try the game again and just let us know if the scaling works properly now? I've changed the target resolution to hopefully match yours, and if it works then I'll know it's an issue with the godot scaling settings, not with the browser, computer, etc.
Update, I've had to change back the resolution for other people to play. But, if you ever want to try the game out and give it a fair shake just let me know and I'll switch it right back. It would be really appreciated :)
It would be nice to see the car you're building and the parts you're buying as you are browsing the menu. By the time I finish buying everything, I feel rushed to submit before the timer runs out, and I don't really get a good look at the car itself in the end.
That's definitely something we intend to add in the polished version of the game! Thanks for playing and taking the time to give proper feedback, it's really appreciated.
I see the idea, and it's really, really interesting. But it's super difficulty to track what's going on. The menu system is unfortunately not that great.
The timer is also quite short. At least I assume that's what's happening, because I keep getting game overed in menus where I don't see it.
Very unfortunate design choices, but a great game concept! Good job!
Thanks for the feedback! The menuing is admitted not fantastic, as it was my first time working with UI that heavily in Godot. Hopefully what lacked in pure fun was made up for at least a bit by a cool idea!
I definitely see the vision. I do wish I had a bit more time, the first couple of times I played I lost before I even knew what I was doing! The music and the graphics are really nice though.
Thanks so much! We've redone the page to hopefully make it much easier to follow. Good luck in the jam!
