Wow, that was so nice, I just got absorbed by the game and woke several minutes after.
I'm usually not into narration and romance, but it's really poetic, well executed and original. You really got inspired by the theme ❤️
The game could be difficult depending on one english level, but I'm not sure there is a fix for that 😅

This game is incredible! Unique idea that I haven't seen anywhere else, well executed. I would have liked the animations to be a touch quicker, there were times when I knew exactly what moves I had to make, but waiting for the words to swap took longer than I would have liked. Excellent game overall though, and I liked the ending.

RenewiaOne of the best games I've played in this jam so far. It's such an original style of puzzle game and you came up with some good puzzles. I think this could be fleshed out a bit more and be a great framework for some full visual novels. Maybe come up with one or two other word-based puzzle types to break things up for something longer.
One interesting idea could be to come up with sentences with multiple possible answers where you could hide easter eggs or branching paths.
A truly beautiful idea, makes me wonder if it's for someone in particular... if yes, she sounds lucky! Good job! <3

Captain TegaGreat game, with a great name! A nice concept that was able to expand with new abilities smoothly to create some really nice "puzzles". The last one was really tricky, and I almost didn't figure it out, but I'm glad I did so I could see that funny ending video. I played in the browser and am happy to report that I didn't see any issues with videos loading. Great work!

A Spat in the StratVery cute and adorable. My only desire would be a scrolling list of actions instead of a set amount. Sometimes I swapped the words around two too many times and had to restart.
Also an undo button for my fat fingering :)
You can really feel the charm as you play along.

Chart the StarsSo sorry about the background videos not working on browser! Will try to fix after the jam, as that's the biggest problem we've been facing! A scrolling list of actions and an undo button is on the to-do list (It was in the original planning phase but we didn't have enough time to polish those elements). Glad you liked the game!
WOW this is so nice! Such an interesting and lovely idea. I like the minimalistic style (I played in browser and there was just black background and I like it better tbh than the one I saw in the playthrough), music is nice and relaxing. I kinda suck at english so I had to watch at a playthrough sometimes but it's me problem. Excellent game! I felt really good while playing it.

Run for Supplies - GMTK Jam 2021Glad you liked our game! Sorry about the browser version, since Unity (our game engine) can't run video files locally in browser, it streams them from a server and that seems to result in it being a black screen 25% of the time. The backgrounds are fixed on the downloadable version since the video files are stored on the machine for that version. Happy to hear that this didn't make your experience with the game worse and that you even enjoyed it even more :). Thanks for all the kind words!

Together in the RainTHE BEST GAME I HAVE PLAYED IN THIS JAM (*so far*)
I love the concept, the puzzles are challenging, but fair. In most of them I got that sweat ahh moment when I figured out the solution. The story is a typical love story you can't go bad there. The clues in the ? tab were quite helpful, and the tools are complex, unique, but original and understandable. I like how you include a little tutorial level when introducing each one of them. And best part was the ending I was genuinely laughing at the for solid 5 minutes like a simple man, which should be your goal as a gamedev; to make games that are funny/interesting. Music was excellent and the theme was done well. The blurred gif images in the background gave each scene a unique look and feel.
If you are going to work on it more (which you should), I will probably buy this game ngl.
PLEASE I AM BEGING YOU MAKE MORE LEVELS.
