How does your game fit the theme?
The leaf is controlled by the wind. sometimes to go forward you need to "let go of control". You can only use one button to blow your leaf in the air, everything else is... not up to you...

Surprising and really cool interpretation of the theme! I loved how relaxing it was, good job!

There's another side to being out of control that not a lot of the other games (mine included!) picked up on: accepting it. This game takes that idea and runs with it. I initially tried to fight with the wind for control over the leaf, but it wasn't until I relinquished control and traveled with the current that the experience came together. Real nice job, I really enjoyed this!

Really relaxing and an original take on the theme. I played all the way to the end and really enjoyed the whole experience, it was very atmospheric and calm. The enemies could be a bit annoying especially when they were placed directly next to a checkpoint... I think they felt a bit out of place during such an otherwise calm game and sometimes I found myself getting annoyed, although the check points did help reduce this frustration. Overall an amazing game and a very creative take on the theme, great job!

Thanks for checking it out! I do agree, I would have preferred more interactive objects throughout the flow rather than enemies, but they were the easiest implementation to make it somewhat diverse.

Very cool concept for the game, really enjoyed it.

There's a bug when I firstly open it that I can't see the UI correct.

Totally,it's soft and quiet.

Nice work.

Developer

Thanks for checking out the game! Yeah there is something strange happening with TextMeshPro text in Unity, couldn't debug what it was, sometimes it's an issue, sometimes its not :/ Reopening the game again often resolves the problem.

A really nice concept, you definitely succeed in your goal of making a relaxing experience and it was really nice to listen to the soft guitar music while floating around. Gave me a lil goosebumps :) Awesome job. Curious on how you made the procedural wind effect (both visually and generatively wise)

Developer

Thanks! I would have loved to add more small interactive components such as bugs that light up, or grass you can fly through that moves when you pass it. I'm glad you liked it!  Well yeah, a lot of fiddling with Perlin noise  :D

It's quite relaxing.

The first time I launched it, the menu the didn't show up and I was very confused. It worked after closing and reopening.

Love the way the wind is done procedurally (as far as I could tell), and the feedback when you touch the checkpoints was so cool! I would have loved more flowers to touch and get feedback off of it was a really satisfying effect! Great job!

Developer

Yeah, getting that on point took more time than I anticipated. And I totally agree, some more effects, like grass that moves, or swarms of glowing bugs that light up when you pass them, they would make for a more enjoyable experience. Thanks for the feedback and checking it out!

amazing wind animation! there are so many patterns i can't tell how you made them hahaha

Developer(+1)

Let's say I can't see Perlin noise anymore for at least a few more weeks

We fluttered onwards to victory. It was a pleasant and chill experience, mostly. There was a warning, "Yeah I wouldn't touch those", and then we saw a flower, so for a little while we thought the point was to avoid the flowers. Didn't take long to realize it meant the 'lil red things, though. Well done! ^_^

Developer

Completely agree, those red thingies should have entered just a fewww meters earlier. Well, something I noticed 10 minutes after the deadline. Thanks for checking it out :)

Thanks for playing the game! I would have loved to put more content in, but you know how it goes in 48 hours :/

I thought this was cool, though it did jump a bit back and forth between relaxing and "Oh crap, I'm gonna hit this thing" or miss a flower. The text was a little hard to read, especially when the sentences got longer. White text on light blue background with white wispy wind can be hard to catch.

Unrelated, but I totally thought the L's were W's and I was shook when the first words in the level I thought read "Hewwo".

This game is nice! The music fits the game well and I love the wind system + art style. In it's current form I'm not sure if its the strongest fit to the theme because you can have pretty good control over the leaf. I do really like the idea of the wind carrying you around though!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! Did you make it further to the end because the wind gets significantly more turbulent and harder to control, entering the main mechanic of the game. But thank you!

I did notice it picked up, but I didn't make it to the end. Once the bomb (?) density picked up I kept getting knocked back to my checkpoints and couldn't proceed. I'll have to try again! :D
