Simple, fun and polish. I doesn't feel like the rotation brings anything to the game other than fitting the theme. Still good job the game is fun.

Excellent game! Congratulations. I honestly had fun playing and I would play more levels if I could!! The sound effects were on point and the art style really fit the game. The best part was the originality of throwing your buddies around to get to the other boxes. Overall amazing!

Yo’,
Very fun game, the style fits it perfectly, keep up the good work!.
I do have to note a few problems with collisions some characters can get completely stuck, but that’s the only problem I have encountered so far.

What I didn't like:

  • I think there's some weirdness with picking up boxes when you're trying to do it frantically. I didn't quite pin it down, but it was either picking them up when I didn't press the button or it was NOT picking them up when I DID press the button.
  • There's a bit of collision glitchiness when you hit some edge cases with conveyors and boxes.

What I liked:

  • The concept is sound and it's well-executed. A lot of games in this jam that steal control from you seem "random" and annoying, but the spinner gives you enough lead time that it doesn't feel like a surprise at all, and you can prepare your next move as a result.
  • The game feel is basically perfect. The entire thing is very polished and tightly controlled.
  • The tutorializing is also perfect. I was able to pick up the game, figure out what's going on, and complete the first level on the first try, all without reading the description. Good pacing for sure. I haven't even been able to beat the second level yet and I already know that the strategizing and positioning involved makes this a neat sort of frantic puzzle game, and that's really interesting.
  • The art is very well directed, and the audio is serviceable (but sadly no music).

Overall, for a one-person project, this is everything you'd like to see from a game jam game. It's a game you could probably sell on a storefront with a bit of extra development. Great work!

Really good one!

This was really fun! I would love to see how hectic a split screen PvP version would be. Either way, it's great in it's current form, too, good work!

Nice job! Just rated!

You worked hard all day, following your usual routine.
It's a tough job but it pays taxes, despite the implications of signing *that* suspicious contract.
Today's shift has been oddly longer than usual.
You're starting to remember things.
You remember.
You remember what you had for dinner last night, what your loved ones look like.
Even your name.

Then... it happens. You feel tired, the boxes get heavier and your legs get weaker by the second.
That haunting sound you heard in your nightmares was suddenly real. It was real all along.
You gaze upon the mighty colorful wheel looming over the factory, the malevolent God that trapped you and your friends there.
You remember.
You remember why moving boxes is what you have to do: because it's the only thing you can do now.

A new color has been chosen: it's red.
You feel the urge to check your jacket, hoping it's blood-tinted, but the answer came in the form of a body standing up next to you, a body you didn't even notice until that very moment.
And you fall. You fall like a toy with dead batteries. You're gone, you're out of control, but you're still there, as you get carried around like a box and stepped over like a disposable platform.

The wheel spins. Your shift is over.
The wheel spins and it says that this is a really fun game, with an original idea that creatively builds on this year's jam premise.
Great job!

Fantastic game and I really like the execution!

The concept is great but maybe it's a bit too random? For a level, I didn't gain control of one of my character at all, but it would be a bit more in line with the theme then :p Other than this little nitpick I think you did a fantastic job.

I absolutely love most things about this game but there are a few things I had problems with.

The collision between the player characters seemed a bit wonky at times. For example, if my character got switched from blue to red and I then tried to jump over blue I would find myself getting stuck on the other character (this was not limited to those colors, just an example). There was also some stuff with the box collision that didn't feel great. If you grab a box from the edge of a platform and then fall down it will sometimes get caught on the edge of the platform and you'll be forced to drop it there.

Overall, however, the game was great and I had a blast playing it, although I would've liked background music and for the sound effects to be a bit louder.

It's pretty fun, but I managed to get stuck a few times and couldn't figure out how to pick up boxes that were under me. It would be neat if each character had a slightly different ability or something too!

Fun mechanic!  I ended up with my little dudes stacked up half the time by accident, it was hilarious :)  I felt like I wanted to plan out my next turns but that was not in my control!  So good job with the theme

Really good foundation, beautiful art, the basic mechanics like running and jumping feel like the way they should, and lots of great puzzle ideas, but I found myself very frustrated with the controls. Try playing any good, well known side scrollers on Steam, and you'll find they control using WASD for basic movement, space for jump, and other functions mapped to the mouse buttons.
