This is super clever, very cute and quite fun! The caffeine made the game basically impossible as the controls aren't exact enough; you may be at the cauldron but if you're not facing perfectly on the cauldron, the ingredient won't go in, and if you press the button to adjust, you go across the screen. That felt more frustrating than challenging. But other than that, this is a great game and I think it has a lot of potential. I hope you work to make a full version.

Really great idea. The artstyle is cute. BUUT, the game is a bit though because it's not easy to find the correct things to put into the pot (sometimes i picked up the wrong thing because it looked like another thing)

Great idea! Excellent performance! However, it was quite difficult for me to catch some items. I think the interface needs some polishing.
Changing the control keys is very confusing, because you do not understand when and how it happens. It would be cool to beat this through brewed potions: each potion imposes a certain effect on the character's movement.

The art style is so cute! The animation and smooth movement were impressive, and the soundtrack was decent. I had some trouble memorizing where each ingredient was located though so it got too hard too fast.

Looks and plays really good! The speed curse feels a bit TOO powerful though. My will to live was kind of hard to catch hahahahhh.... :(

At first I just threw anything I could grab into the cauldron because I was picking up every single thing. When I started paying attention to the recipes the game did well and was coming together nicely. I was concerned there wouldn't be enough time to get the right ingredients as you can interact with almost everything in the room but I'm glad you added a feature that resets it whenever you get a correct ingredient because the curses definitely are enough to impact the difficulty! Good job!

P.S. You say you used pre existing art but I could swear I saw progress updates of someone making the witch on the discord channel? Was it everything else in the room that's pre-existing then?

All of the models/animations were made during the jam! We did pull the unedited textures of the walls and floor from textures.com though.

Nifty idea, but once I managed to get my first potion done, it became almost unplayable once I completed my first potion: I was small, and super super fast, and just couldn't control myself. Then I ended up getting stuck in the corner when I failed it.

The game could be really neat, but the curses feel *way* too powerful.

I like the idea but many of the "curses" just sort of ruined the fun for me. When the screen was spinning around and my movement was backwards I basically had to wonder around aimlessly for a long time until I finally managed to even find the pieces I needed. Maybe it's just me but I didn't really like that aspect of the game. But otherwise, it was alright and I really love the art. The combination of the amount of bloom you used and the cel shading worked together wonderfully and really reminded me of Wind Waker. 10/10 art. Give my game a try too please :)

I liked it when they said poggers. Anyway It looks great it just got difficult pretty fast and the speed one was a little finicky. I noticed the speed that you turn doesnt change really so in order to turn around full you have to run into the cauldron. Goooooooooood stufffff!

Very cool game! I think the concept was very cool. Maybe if you ever pushed it further you could have some sort of influence on what control loss you get. For example you could pick clients that give you different rewards and the more rewarding ones have more control loss. I also did find the spinning room made me feel a bit sick but overall I enjoyed the game :)

Great little game, very cute, and the music is great!

Had to use my controller to play it properly. It's sadly not as playable on keyboard, you just can't get the same level of control. 

Would to see this as a full game! Great job!

This is a very very pretty game,  relaxing at first but i really liked the later twists that gave it some spice! Well done!
