Ha, so there's literally a limited amount of controls. This game is all about optimizing, just like speedruns. I like it a lot, it is a good game idea. My only problem is the camera, which jumps together with the player. It would be cool if you added some smooth dragging behind instead.
Basic and needs polish but for a 48 hr jam , cute :) good work!

Really fun little game ! The idea is nice and works pretty well and the art is great. The game is some times a little bit buggy, but if you manage to fix these in the future i'll be glad to replay it one more time !
Thank you! Yea I wish I had more time for bug fixes, I actually fixed the bug where your controls lock up (it was a state machine thing) but I can't re-upload a build til after the Jam. Look forward to an update after, tho!
Nice idea. Maybe a particle effect or a different control could emphasise the fact that you are casting a spell? As such, the idea was kind of drawn in the action
The wizard sprite is so good! The gameplay concept definitely keeps it tense but I found myself stuck on some glitches. The idea has lots of potential!

I'm not the best at platform jumping games. I found myself running out of mana often as I'd poorly time jumps. Cute art, with a nice concept.
Nice job! I personally like the fact that it's kind of hard at first...it's still clear what you need to do, and when it clicks that it'll reset if you "run out of control" (mana) it really works. IT's almost like you took a platformer and gave it a partial turn-based feel because you're conserving moves.
