I did not really understand the point of the game... beside producing more soldiers what was i supposed to do?
Love the tower defense game and the graphics! I had a lot of fun, if anything i wished there was some instructions to play in game and some upgrades. All in all a great game!
I love tower defense games, and once I figured out how the game worked it was a lot more fun.
I was really lost at first, had no idea what the controls were or what the point to the whole game is. I eventually figured out, but the gameplay loop needs to be refined, it’s currently a slow march towards inevitable defeat. There is a lot of potential here, however, and it seems like you have a good starting point! Great work on the graphics and sound.
Good job making it on time for the jam! I didn't expect to find a tower defense around here, so that's original. I think the main flaw of your game is the lack of a title screen and some instructions on how to play (I couldn't find it) and what the icons and bars actually means. Cheers!
It would better if the mechanic was expanded a bit more. And establish some choices for the player.
Awesome asthetics and music
The music and the art is perfect for this game but sadly the gameplay loop seems like it would need an explanation. I just focused on the knights that guards the kingdom to keep me alive, so I didn't see a point on focusing on other people. But for your first game it is much more attractive than mine was. ;-)

Clear love for coding and management games!
It lacks deep, like I can see this game unfolding into a building/management game, x4 strategy or even an idle game, you got a nice prototype here that could grow into something great!
It seems like the economic loop is missing? I think there's supposed to be an idea of needing gold & food to pay for the knights and sustain the kingdom, but the gold never reduces.
There feels no point in keeping the miners or villagers alive because the knight is vital for keeping for prolonging the kingdom's life. "Strategy" is too simple: focus on the knight, or else everyone dies.
Although I see the numbers increase, I cannot find any incentive to keep upping them. For the sequel to this game, I hope you add the option to hire more kingdom peeps (i.e. defenders, miners) by spending materials to deploy them. This would make the strategy more interesting because you would need to decide whether to prioritise your mining or your defences!
