An interesting little endless game, but I would have loved a bit more variety. It felt like there were only 2 or 3 different obstacles. Additionally I would have expected to keep accelerating to infinity, but I guess the game was too realistic for that...
I see a lot of potential in this one, but for jam it is a pretty neat game!
Sadly I didn't quite have enough time for more variation. The car was made during the jam and ate up pretty much one entire day. Due to drag being simulated, the car has a maximum speed it can not surpass. I was trying to exploit the game by slowing down on the fence, but sometimes it works, sometimes it bounces waaaay off. Is it random?;P
Though I like the arcady feel of the game. I would only remove the long empty beginning, and start at some speed.

Definitely fits the theme. I kept trying to control the card, but it's really hard.

After unzipping the files, I get the following error when trying to launch the game: "The procedure entry point CreateDXGIFactory2 could not be located in the dynamic link library dxgi.dll" (Using Windows7 64bit)

A straight forward concept executed really well, the music was REALLY good! really did feel out of control when trying to turn, nailed the theme
I did work pretty hard to write the music and sample the audio during the jam :)

Wish I could have added more effects (like no steering, or upside-down camera)
my budget pc couldn't handle it, I get 20 score
I did try to optimize it as much as possible. Sadly, Unreal Engine is a pretty demanding game engine and I did not have enough time to add graphics settings to it.
Tough but fun. The physics are a bit "sticky" though, the car comes to a dead stop if you graze any obstacles.
That is a result of me trying to keep the car from rolling and bouncing indefinitely when you crash. It would require a lot of fine-tuning of the settings to get right
The car felt a little light like it would flip quite very easily. This was difficult but fun, managed to pull off some nice dodges after getting used to the car.
the biggest challenge here is indeed getting used to the car :)
Tough game. Just got a 34 score but I want to keep going back. Controller is much easier than keyboard.
Sometimes after landing from a boost the car will stop as if it hit a barrier.
the car's bumper might hit the ground, in which case it stops. I tuned the physics so stuff doesnt bounce as much (so you dont spin out of control as much when you crash). Could fix that with a physics asset redo, I guess
After playing this for a while, I must say, this is one addicting game, especially if you are the type who wants to challenge their previous records and do better than ever. The idea is well executed, and the controls sure feel crazy (or maybe that's just me, most likely both though ;) )
The physics are what makes the game difficult. if you like this, I am working on a full racing game project with a lot of fantasy/alternate universe race tracks.
This was cool! I watched one of your dev logs while you were working on this! It turned out well! I kept dying around score 15, but, I think that's just my bad driving!
might be the case. the physics are pretty unforgiving :)
