This concept is really amazing. A long time ago I tryied to do it, but it became very confused. Maybe only 2 "worlds" should be enough to be better. But in overall, it's very good concept.
Sometimes I died to myself just because I changed the world. I think the "colision area" of the cat was hitting some scenario colisions causing me to die. (idn)
However, this is a great concept game and a pretty insane artwork (level and sprites). A good work, dude!
It would have been cool with a little tutorial to discover the different powers but I imagine you ran out of time, despite of that the idea is really interesting and the art is nice, nice work !
I've seen some of the concepts here in Flash games - The Company of Myself and Hello Worlds come to mind - but never integrated so smoothly and all at once. I also adore that transition effect. Little bit frustrating not knowing what's in the next world though, and an onscreen reminder of what power each world gives you would be helpful.

Interesting game, almost gave up after being stuck in the first room for too long.
I came here and read the comments that the orange room gives you double jump lol
Also not sure why I kept dying
Thinking it would better to have the cat pivot in the center when moving from right<->left to not move so much
Nice levels and really nice cat
What a great game! would love to see more of it! And the animations are so lovely 💛
Had to read the comments to understand what skill works when. I just didn’t play more because the cat dies when you change too many times the world mode…?
Would be nice if each world had it’s own button so I can directly change into the version I need. Anyway, great submission!
really cool concept and neat little game. This one was a bit challenging and almost gave up so some things to consider.
With advanced puzzle mechanics like this you should really start the player out in a brain dead simple room explaining how you should navigate the room. Something where the player wont get frustrated on where to go or what to do for the first 5 mins. That could loose a lot of interest rather quickly for a game that's actually quite good.
the way the guide was set up was just a bit to quick to read, so having to restart a few times to read it fully and grasp the concept of what i was support to do was a bit challenging.
overall incredible job, nice work with the sound design between levels and color pallets!
Very interesting and cryptic at first. Tight controls and cute characters, I like it!
Kinda confusing for me at the beggining but after that it was really fun!! Love the graphics and the main character ;)
interesting mechanics ! definitely a genre of puzzle-platformers thats highly underrated, im always happy when i find little gems like this to scratch that itch :•P
I love puzzle games and it kinda frustrates me that we weren't able to put out all of our desired outcome. But hey, we'll be working on this project further!
This game was a lot of fun! Really cool concept!
The switching mechanic is really interesting. It took me an embarrassing amount of time that Orange room gave me a double jump. I just do not understand what Blue does, other than when I swap into it the second time, I just die lol. Maybe that's the purpose? Otherwise, the sprites were really good, and the little audio was nice. .
I would like to see this mechanic / idea flushed out more. I think it could be something pretty fun if built upon!
Well done.
At risk of adding to what some may consider spoilers here, blue definitely does something, keep at it! (but I admit I was the same with orange for way too long)
Room 506: This is a really high quality game for a jam entry, thanks very much for squeezing it in just in time. Hope to see you and your other fans here at the next one!
Ah yeah, due to some time constraints we weren't able to squeeze a much needed tutorial. But to explain, the green world spawns a copy of you that acts as a platform, the orange provides a double jump, and the blue one allows you to glide if you press and hold the button.
And don't worry, though this is our first entry here at itch, we want to fully flesh out this game!
Heh heh, yes I got through the first couple of puzzles after working all that out eventually. The first puzzle took a long time as I only discovered that I could stand on my own shadow by accident (edit: I should point out, that was definitely part of the fun). Yeah this is my first submission here too, it’s certainly a cute way to kick-start a project and hit the ground running with immediate feedback.
That's a really interesting gimmick. I really like the way switching between worlds changes not only the color palette, but the audio too.
It's something we really wanted to do so well. Given the 4 color limitation, the palette swap needed to be seamless. The artists are proud that they're work didn't go unnoticed.
Enjoyed the concept and the puzzling aspects of the game. I gave up because swapping to blue kept killing me when I didn't jump on a particular platform, then later I jumped to avoid death and blue killed me in mid-air instead. A shame as I would've liked to play more but it became too frustrating to deal with the random deaths.
Oddly enough I actually encountered the same issue myself and specifically ONLY for the blue tiles. didn't notice it at first but the time I realized it the submission time was over. We're working on a better build that we'll release so rest assured we'll fix this!
