How does your game match the theme?
It's a game in which you play as an interior designer in a world where humans have reached outer space, spaceships are the new houses and aliens coexist with humanity. It matches the theme not only because it takes place in outer space, but because we are also customize the space inside our client's house, hopefully for their liking!

This is extremely cool! I loved the concept and the art is just mind blowing! I also enjoyed subtle music and the gameplay is pretty cool. Nicely done!

I absolutely loved this! I also ended up including a bit of a furnishing aspect to my game but I didn't think about making it the core gameplay idea. I really love where you went with it and the freedom with the game was fantastic. Great job!

I like how open ended the game is. The characters and the intro animations are very charming. I wish there's more happening during the designing section. An idea I had is to have the characters expressed their reaction when I put down a piece of furniture. Great game either way.

The art was fantastic. I liked the personality of the characters. It was a fund game. I enjoyed playing. How does the light rod get placed, though? I couldn't get that one figured out.

That was fun! The art is pretty, the music is proficient, and the mechanics are well-implemented. Great work!

It would be great if we could rotate the objects. The gameplay is very unique.

Developer

You can!

While you have a furniture piece selected and you press the select button (which is binded to E, Shift and backspace, I know, its a mess) you rotate the furniture piece counterclockwise, every furniture piece except lamps can be rotated :>

Great game! Its chill & creative gameplay goes well with the music. All of the sprite work is top-notch, especially the character portraits. Everything matches the Game Boy style & secondary theme.

I liked the music, it was relaxing and the game had a very relaxing vibe overall.

just finished this, LOVED the music. Great take on the theme too. after I got an F on the first house I managed to figure out how to deliver quality design work for the rest of the clients. This definitely felt like a gameboy game.

Good game! management of space and resource was well implemented and it really felt like I was playing on a gameboy!

Nice game! The art and music are fantastic, and the different sets pretty unique and versatile. All I could ask for is for the cursor to move a bit faster, other than that, this is a nice little game!

The visuals and the soundtrack are great - it really feels like a Gameboy game.  I also like how you interpreted the secondary theme.

I really liked the music of the game, also visuals are quite appealing.

Relaxing, chill game. Really well fleshed out, it really does feel like this could have been a game on the Gameboy!

Lovely game. Dialogues are fun and furnishing is a great take on the theme!

Apart of the bug with the chairs, this was not only a very original concept but also a cozy and relaxing experience. Just figuring out in seconds what collections to use or putting whatever you want in the houses for fun is a nice touch, and the amount of art, characters and great dialogue in this game is insane SPECIALLY being their first jam!
If you like Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer or similar chill/cozy titles try this out!

And the music, even if not being many was more than enough to set a vibe B)

The name Space Between Walls has an ominous ring to it, and with the flying chair in the logo i first thought it would contain ghosts!

Unfortunately, it does :/

All i get is the mellow and nice decorating-music.

There should be sprites of some sort here, right?

Developer

Wow thats the first time we have seen that, could you specify where are you trying to play? The aspect ratio seems off

EDIT: It was just my browser being dumb, and now i feel like a fool 💩

Developer

No problem bro, did you like the game? :>

Submitted(+1)

Yeah, I like it a lot more! ^^,

Very calming game. Inviting art style.
And that mellow music really fits the mode.

Good game :)

I LOVE this. The dialogue is fun and quirky, the arts is great, and you use the theme of the jam twice! Great work!
