Hello! Thanks a lot for your feedback! I'm glad that still enjoyed it :) It's a good thing that you mentioned the tutorial. I was thinking about it and now I know that it's needed. I probably won't make a special level for it, but instead some short descriptions for newly acquired building parts.
The "special walls" are actually just regular "rocks", but with much more health and a fancy animated texture. The "weird tube" is a time accelerator and it makes everything in the game except for enemies movement 10 times faster.
I was also thinking about adding some lore to make the objective clearer for the players. I have a general idea about a story so I might implement it in the next update.
I hope I provided some explanation for how certain things work and thanks again for your feedback. I will surely improve this project in the future. Cheers!

Very cool! I played it a couple of times and surely will some more, because I'm really enjoying it! It's very simple and in terms of mechanics doesn't have anything in common with tetris, but it's a cool theme that fits perfectly with GBJam. And the image on top of the game window on it's itch site is awesome! I have to give 5 stars for music :) Good job!
Amazing game! The beginning hitted me with a great nostalgia feeling. It reminded me of pokemon games I used to play on my phone with an emulator and other old rpg-like games. The graphics are very decent, music pleasant and everything is very polished! I would be very interested in seeing this project grow with more content, but also there is already a lot packed into it. The story strucked me as simple at first but it's very engaging and perfect for this king of game. You nailed the retro feeling. Good job!
This is really great! The artwork is really polished and pleasant fot the eyes. I enjoyed learning new mechanics. Everything in the "tutorial" was clear and very well implemented. It's a good mechanic with the hook and rolling and the way you implemented it to the levels. Sometimes it wasn't obvious at the first glance what to do but figuring it out is very satisfying. Good job!
Amazing atmosphere! I'm a huge fan of the xenomorph universe and I really enjoyed this game. I'm not sure why but sometimes my hit were registered and I could one shot a humans but sometimes it could a couple of hits. But other then that it's and amazing concept with some nice hand-drawn animations. Good job!
Very cool game! I like the visuals. They are simple, but pleasant to the eye and subtle details like moving background behind the window makes everything more interesting to look at. The gameplay felt very classic and retro. Felt a little like playing tetris but with some original twists. I also really enjoyed music and the overall idea of a dog working on a space port. Good job!
That was really amazing! Loved the theme interpretation :) I really enjoyed the progression because it didn't feel to easy but also not to punishing. Getting new items and upgrades felt very awarding. My chicken buddy helped a lot with retrieving the cow. This game has a great GameBoy feel and I wish I had one to play Cowcatcher on it! Good job!
That's a very fun game! Very hard to complete and I would suggest giving more lives to the player but there is some retro vibe that this hardcore mode gives. I really liked the simple but retro visuals. They nicely capture that GameBoy "soul". Can't say much about music but the sound effects are cool and satisfying. I also really like the mechanic with retrieving your bullets by hitting enemies. I think it could be worth to try experiment with it some more. Maybe two max bullets per hit for more intense action? It definitely has potential. Good job!
