This is great! Character and visual style looks amazing, movement of character is fluid and game is challenging. Mechanics are also unique and it takes a great twist on the theme. Really great game, awesome job!
Thank you, I appreciate the kind feedback and I'm glad you enjoyed it :D
This looks pretty good.
I found the jumping between worlds a bit too fine to be fun, if you are just slightly out of the correct area, deep space is the destination.
Really like the combination of 2D and 3D for the game art and the animations are nice as well.
Thanks for the game.
Thank you for the feedback, It seems a lot of people have noticed the harsh aiming for the jumps. I'll be sure to fix that first :)
Fun game. I liked the art style and music.
Thank you :)
Was real fun! the character looks amazing
Thanks, glad you liked it :)
Interesting mechanics! Took some time to get used to the aiming, but it's quite a fun game.
Appreciate the feedback, It might benefit from some kind of indicator or build up to the jump. I'll look into that :)
Nice job, good progress for only a few days... flung myself in to space waaaay too many times, but had fun doing so :)
Haha nice, I'm glad you had fun. Thanks for playing :)
This is amazing, great job! I did something a little similar with the movement in my game - yours is much more fleshed out. Only feedback would be to get back into the game faster when i mess up.
Oh nice, I'll be playing some more games tomorrow now I'll be sure to check it out... Thanks for playing, I'll take the feedback into account when I update it too.
This is a cool little game, I love the main mechanic, but I did find it slightly confusing. Would have benefitted from some mini tutorial at the start menu, but this can be easily added, Great idea, with more story behind it could be a an indie banger on Steam!
Thank you I appreciate that :) Tutorials and sounds are the first things on my to-do list when I add more to it. Glad you liked it though :D
Great job ! Some sound could be more pleasant but overall it's amazing work for only 4 days ! Keep it up !
Yeah I really wish I put some sounds in there, I left it until last and then ran out of time adding features and fixing some bugs. Appreciate the feedback
This was fun! Planet hopping felt good but I wish it was a bit more forgiving. I felt bad for the little dude just freezing out in space whenever I missed a jump lol.
I'm glad you enjoyed it and yeah the jumps are done through a raycast, probably a better more forgiving way to set that up. But Space is a harsh place...
This game has a lot of potential and I hope you'll expand on it in future
Thanks, I hope to add more to it when the jam is officially over :D
This game has a lot of potential, I had a lot of fun. It's a little confusing on which planet's you are able to jump to and not but otherwise great game especially with 4 days. The effects are a strong point also.
Maybe I could include some kind of indicator to fix that 🤔 Thanks for playing!
Nice little game, it feels very polished and well-rounded. Great work and a solid take on the jam theme!
Thank you for the kind and positive feedback I really appreciate it!
I’ll be playing other people’s submissions tomorrow through the day, I’ll be sure to return the favour and leave some feedback for your game too :)
I should mention I used some free assets to make this game too. The music comes from freesound.org, some free assets from the unity asset store were used and finally the planets are from Kenney. I would put it in the description but I don't know if I can edit now the jam has finished.
