Neat concept requiring planning and thought to get the pieces rotated properly! I think movement speed can be slowed down a bit since it is a tight spot making it a bit easier to move pieces around!
Very cool idea! I liked that each restart the puzzles position get randomized, makes you think fast. I think would be better if controls wouldn't be so sensitive, sometimes it leads to puzzle misplacement. Good job!

Fantastic puzzle game. THeres a lot o potencial in here, just a bit of fine tuning
I think there's a lot of potential here. I love the appearance and the concept. I enjoy puzzle games but I like them to be a bit more relaxing so I'd also rather not have a timer mechanic, or at least a timer mechanic with stars.
I don't even mind needed full stars to have to progress, for example, but I just want to be able to finish the level even if it's gone badly.
I think the controls and getting the pieces the right way is difficult, which is another reason I wanted to finish - just to practice it! If this was polished up, I'd definitely consider buying on steam one day.
I very much enjoy the idea behind this game. The puzzles are quite tricky.
The thing i would improve is the controls. I know what i want the robot to do but it's difficult to do. Also sometimes you can walk on the tiles and I don't think that's intended.
Very fun puzzle game. The idea is pretty solid. Having to do redo the entire level meant your previous attempts where useless as whatever knowledge you’ve gained from trying it once, is lost in the next attempt. So it ends up being a bit of a lucky draw depending on the arrangements of tile. The game did become a lot easier once I figured out how to go onto platforms, I wonder if this was intended or emergent?
Thank you so much for playing it. The mechanic you mention is emergent gameplay. I could fix it, but I've heard of a couple of people liking it because it made the game a bit easier.
So I think that if I expand this game to a full Steam release, I would maybe add that as a power up you could use once or twice per level.
Thanks again for your feedback and for playing my game!
This is a nice incorporation of a puzzle game matching the theme. Gives me the slider puzzle vibe with slightly more freedom. I beat it in 20 mins, I could do better but that's the time I got haha. Congrats on the game, I had a lot of fun! ^.^
I like puzzle games and the idea is nice but not the fact that the timer resets the level. I'd prefer a star based success system (if you win the level in less than x seconds, 3 stars, less than y 2 stars else 1 star). It's frustrating to have to redo the whole level
Also I don't get it: are you supposed to be able to walk on the pieces or not? Sometimes I can, sometimes not. It's not a clear gameplay constraint so it feels unfair sometimes :)
Apart of that, it's a really nice game, that feels good and polished! Congratz!
Wow this was so much better than i expected. Great puzzles and mechanics, i really enyojed this one. Great Job!
Nice puzzle game. Fits good with the theme. Although the time limit is not my peace of cake during puzzle games, i had fun playing it.
You could ask them, it's possible as they stated that bug fixes shouldn't introduce new mechanics, and you're just fixing the controls. But best to double check first if you're unsure. I think it would make a great Steam game if it's expanded, and as a personal preference, I would love to be able to figure out the puzzles without the timer as it just stresses me out lol, but then you would perhaps need to make the puzzles a bit more complicated to add difficulty.
I love the look and feel of the game overall, the start screen made the game immediately seem like it was going to be fun to play. If you make the puzzles more complex, the gameplay could even be longer game than 30-40 minutes, as shorter gameplay is always a bit risky considering Steam's 2 hour gameplay refund policy.
Unique concept and interesting idea , had a great fun while playing
Interesting idea! It was a fun little game. I like the randomization of the level so if I lost, it started different. It was challenging to rotate pieces, but understanding how it worked after playing it bit, made it easier.
Great little game, has a ton of potential. A little wonky with holding and walking but overall solid and congrats on submitting!
Very good game, i only make better the controls and make a zoom in the camera, but an amazing job
Very cool game! It felt pretty janky at first, but I got used to it pretty quick and then started using the jankiness to help me solve the puzzles :D I placed puzzle pieces up against walls to put me on top of the piece, then I could jump off on whatever side helped me pick it up in the orientation I needed! Lots of fun by the end, nice job!
Haha, I know exactly the mechanic you mean. I was using it during testing too.
I didn't have time to fix it during the jam, but if you think this game can be fun, I will definitely polish it after the jam ends and maybe release an extended version on Steam.
Thank you so much for playing and for leaving feedback, I really appreciate it and I'll be sure to play Escape the System as well!
