Really fun concept. Loved the toy block aesthetic and how it ties into the theme. The sound effects were a nice touch and made me smile. Gameplay gets a bit hectic later on. Would be great to see more tower combinations and maybe some feedback like enemy health bars. Nice work
Nice tower defender. Love the use of toy aesthetics to make it part of the theme prompt!
Thanks for the feedback. What is the first thing you would change about the game?
Interesting concept. Great use of the theme. The progression ramp up could be a little slower while cutting back on how many towers I can build at the start, but other than that, great job!
I made it to the blue dogs before being overwhelmed, nice job fitting the theme with the building blocks. Solid jam entry.
Thanks for the feedback. If you can change on thing in this game, what would it be?
I guess an easy change that would make a big impact is health bars for the enemies, it would give some visual feedback that the shots were connecting.
Such a good idea and the art looks nice.
Thanks for the feedback. What would be the first change you would make to this game?
Good question. For my games I like to expand them more and more. And get everything as helpful for the player as it’s possible. And for you, maybe getting the physics as realistic as possible, I think.
Maybe you can check my game, the speed platformer, too and tell me your critical thoughts about it?
Yes, I will, although I am not a speed runner guy, but i will try it!
Cool game and cool style! Is there a way to remove a block after it’s placed?
No, not at the moment at least. But I think it would be a good feature. Thanks!
I love tower defense games. The idea of combining towers out of blocks could become something really cool if you keep expanding on it. The sounds are fun too! Definitely a cool project, though it does keep you pretty busy :)
Thanks for the feedback. Yes, in the end it is a bit too much. It needs more balancing. But what would be the first thing you would change in this game?
More tower combinations. This is ur usp.
What a cool way to play tower defence! Build a block tower with toys, almost genius!
The sound effects got me, as soon as I heard them it immediately made me smile. The background music was a great choice, it gave me a Rugrats vibe of nostalgia!
Ah yes, Rugrats, that's a long time ago. Nice to hear I could give you a feeling of nostalgia. What would be the first thing you would change about my game?
Great twits on the established formula, I liked having to put the turrets together. And this looks pretty polished!
Thanks for the feedback. What would be the first think you would change in this game?
Interesting idea. I liked building towers. A bit too hard though.
Thanks! Yeh, the and is a bit too much, no? What would be the first think you would change in this game?
I think the idea of having to build the towers is awesome! A fun tower defense.
I love the artstyle and the mouth-sound SFX. I laughed aloud when the cannons started shooting, well done! Started to have some serious lag in a later level when there were a crazy amount of enemies and bullets on-screen. Only lost when it became impossible to correctly place turrets due to it. Had a lot of fun though! I love to see different types of turrets you could choose to build based on more colors and/or different placements. This was a really neat idea!
Thanks for the feedback. And yes, the balance is off at a certain point. Definitely something I would work on when I will work on in the future.
I like the aesthetic, and I think you applied the theme quite well. The music is also nice, fits the mood well. The sound is a little repetitive, though. And it would be to have a little more information, like how much things cost and how much health the base has left. I like the idea of putting different blocks together to make cannons. Nice work!
Thanks for the nice feedback. You completely right about the sound. Needs some randomize pitch and more variation.
