Good job on the submission! Enjoyed playing it!

I'll take it!

Simple but addictive game! The leaderboard made me want to keep trying until I had a respectable score to show off. :)

In general the camera is placed well, but I found it had an odd swaying effect to it. The assistance of the Relic is very appreciated.

The game page lists four enemy types, I'm sure I only saw skeletons and one other (I'm guessing Grunts. The green guys.)

The fireball attack is pretty satisfying to hit enemies with. The enemy counter has a bit of a delay between defeating an enemy and showing that they're no longer counting for the total remaining, I'm guessing that it updates after their death animation rather than at the start of it.

It's also a little strange that enemies can move through solid obstacles which block my fireballs, specifically a crescent shaped one up and right of the relic. I also sometimes got stuck on the smaller obelisks surrounding the relic, but that's probably fair.

Love the player model... the best games in the jam use that model ;p Really fun game... well done!

Liked the perspective and the clean mechanic, overall I think you did a good job on this one.

Good game, liked the tower acting as a turret and the pacing was good. Could see you building on it with perhaps things to do during the pause between waves (eg. repair the tower or purchase upgrades) - a minimap would also help so you can see where the enemies are coming. Well done!

Developer

Thank you so much! Yeah the initial idea was to have 3 upgrade options to choose from in between waves in of course a limited amount of time, so you would have to make quick choices. Unfortunately time was an issue there.

Nice game! 5th place on the leaderboard!

Wow! Seriously? That is nuts! Well done!

Very cool game! The visuals is good and the music too. Maybe the movement feels a little weird and I found moving around counterproductive. Despite this I had so much fun!

Pretty cool arcady game!

I like that the tower attacks with me and doesn't just stay idle for me to defend, comes clutch in times!

Although I find the camera movement a bit nauseating as it moves in a very "unpredictable" way…

Also, I wished if there were some more upgrades to add a bit more depth to the game.

And one last thing, the leaderboard doesn't seem to be working for me, maybe it's because I'm using Firefox?

Never mind that, after reloading the page the leaderboard showed up (I'm fifth!)

Well done guys!

That was nice to play. I really liked it. If only I had time to play more...

Very cool. Appreciate the nice variety of spawns.

I couldn't get fullscreen to work on Chrome for some reason.

Really nice work. I absolutely liked the gameplay, maybe I would add some power ups to make it more dynamic.  Appreciated also the music and sfx a lot!

Great game!

Smooth and fun. I would have loved more power ups or other spells!

Nice game, anyway!

It is fun! great Job! :D

Nice! Liked atmosphere - would like a little more depth, but really great job on submitting - really enjoyed the different enemy types.

Found a bug (maybe client side) but I held control and the game died.... very odd

Good game and good luck in the jam <3

Really cool! I did somehow end up in a situation where the game started again while the leaderboard was still on the screen

Developer

Yeah, I think I had one of those bugs myself, just before we submitted. Thank you for the nice words though!

Great job!

I thoroughly enjoyed the 3D visuals. They set an amazing atmosphere. Having multiple enemy types was nice to keep the variety going. The controls feel crisp and smooth, making for an enjoyable and responsive experience.

This entry stands out as a well-polished game. I think that was smart to just focus on making what you had run well rather than trying to squeeze too much in. I saw that you had mentioned that there was some more upgrades planned but with the time limit it was tough to get to. I think with the addition of more weapons and power-ups, it will be even better!

Overall, it's an impressive effort and a lot of fun to play!
