Liked this platformer, especially that you can alter the level and the modification are kept between runs, this could be a great concept to work on. Didi you survive the Zombie Trapper? Great job!
Very FUN and UNIQUE idea on this game! AWESOME WORK!!! GREAT ART!!! NICE MECHANICS!!! This was a fun challenging game. Loved it.
I liked it a lot. One suggestion may be if you die near the beginning and took too long, currently you may have to just wait out the timer as might as well start over than try with so less time left. So maybe a restart button or key might help for this, Otherwise I loved how it looked, mechanics were clean and it was really fun - nice job!
This was a fun game! The assets you used were cute. The energy as a timer was stressful, but added an element of "ahhhhh" if you know what i mean. My only note is that I think the energy should reset after you die, because if I die too early, I have to wait out the timer anyway to have enough time to make it across the level. overall, this was fun, and good job!
A cool little game! I thought that creating an 'energy' mechanic was quite innovative and I liked the added challenge it gave to completing levels in time. That and the raining fireballs were very cool. As others said the music is really awesome, and while I see you've collected assets from all over the place you've done a great job of assembling them in such a way that you create an environment that seems to just 'fits' together so nicely - it really feels great. Great job!
Great colourful platformer that reminded me of Wonder Boy or Adventure Island games with their depleting energy. That fun cover of "Also sprach Zarathustra" reminds me of the old Incredible Crisis soundtrack by Tokyo Ska Paradise! Great stuff for a first attempt!
Nice! Very colourful environments and the platforming mechanics felt good. My only nitpick would be that when you die you still have the same energy as before, which often wasn't enough to get through the level so I had to wait until until my energy ran out. Overall I had good time with it
The music was so good! Good concept and fun game as well, some more levels that played more with the slam mechanic would've been awesome (but yeah, it's a jam) Also the parallax and level in general looked real nice. Congrats!
Cool game! I like the fun music and smashing the blocks is satisfying. Good job!
Bro, the name of this game. 100% best game title this jam. Your player control mechanics are really solid. Everything feels right. The platforming and clipping were also on point. No jumps where if I missed I didnt feel like it was my fault. Music/SFX ratio are also really good. I've noticed this jam a lot of us have really quiet music with super loud SFX. Your mix was spot on!
Glad to see so many fellow dinosaur enjoyers in this jam. The SFX are a little too loud, but the mechanics work pretty well and the levels were short and sweet, which I prefer in a jam game like this. Good job!
Nice! You tied everything together pretty cohesively. I have a few suggestions:
If you want WASD to be a viable movement alternative, it would be good to have the ground smash by usable with the S key as well as the down arrow key.
I think the jump sound was a little loud in contrast to the music.
Smashed blocks stay smashed even after running out of stamina and resetting the level.
But overall, well done!
