This is an awesome and dark twist on fairytales, and SO much content and such a good story! I wasn't able to finish all paths because it is so much (that's good haha) and have no time, but certainly a 5 in story. The artstyle is great as well, and the music worked really well with the story and mood.

It's amazing you managed to do all this in a week, congrats!

Ohhh makes sense, I thought the numbers were the actual value and they were not changing, I feel the numbers related to directions are kinda confusing but I believe you could make some cool mechanics and an more intuitive system!

This was really satisfying and mysterious at the same time. At first I thought I was already cleaning by moving the leaves to the sides of the screen lol but that's on me.

I love the progression and storytelling, how the scene evolves and slowly gives new pieces of information, escalating in a nice creepy way. The music and sounds were really good, the mechanics worked super well, just a good game overall! Congrats

Short but scary! The jumpscare and chase could be a little scarier, but her movement around the map and how being careful I had to be while looking around for the items made me very paranoid and tense.

You nailed the graphic style, it looks great. The sound design was also really good, wish there were more audio elements but still great as well.

I feel it was impossible to escape if you were being chased already, when far from the bell at least, but maybe I'm just bad lol.

Awesome submission and good job!

I'm not entirely sure I knew what I was doing but managed to finish the game hehe. The dialogues were really nice, the characters had their own personalities and everything felt quite mysterious.

I loved the graphics style, it worked well. The sequence of walking back home got me paranoid so good job on that as well. And that ending was great!

I feel I didn't really understand much at the beginning, some stuff could be explained or displayed more clearly, both in mechanics and story. But still, cool and interesting game, great entry! Good job

I couldn't figure out how to elevate the cabin, idk if I had to do something with the pressure valves. Still, I really liked the menu animation on start, and the start where the monster slowly approaches feels very ominous! I can see the level design being quite interesting, and the monsters as well. (I love the concept of mutescares lol)

This has potential to be quite fun if you utilize and expand the mechanics correctly!

Short experience but good atmosphere! Wish I could play fullscreen, it'd be scarier

Good sound design and attention to detail. Was it a zombie apocalypse?

I wish it was longer but the events and story were well made and created some good tension. Congrats! Great job

Great atmosphere, loved the graphics. The guy behind me made me so paranoid ffs. I loved the different interactions and the character designs (idk if you made them yourselves but looked really nice). It was fun to discover what the right choice was but abruptly restarting and having to walk a long way again was a little annoying. Still very enjoyable don't worry

The ambient sound and all sfx worked really great, tho sometimes they were a lot of sfx and they felt pretty random, some more spatialized sounds and animated events on the sides would really add to the atmosphere!

Good experience and awesome job! Congrats

I can't believe you managed to make this game in 7 days, it was so good! The cutscenes were amazing, the 3d and visual style was also really nice. The camera sometimes worked kinda weird, since some transitions weren't very clear or there were some blind spots where I lost the character, but most of them were great angles and looked awesome.

On the first level, the stealth mechanic did not work at all, at least for me. There was no way I could lose the enemy and everytime I restarted it'd immediatly start following me, I still managed to avoid him, his attacks were too slow and easy to dodge. The other levels worked well tho!

I kinda wish there was a run button, the final sequence of the second level was a little underwhelming since the enemies followed me while I felt I was just walking haha

The story seemed nice and was told in a great way, but sadly my brain couldn't really connect the gameplay with the 2D cutscenes. (Maybe I'm just stupid)

I mentioned all the feedback I could think of, but the game overall was really really good and I'm still very impressed! Congrats, amazing job <3

Sure, here you go:
I have analyzed your game and concluded that the visuals are exceptionally surrealistic and unique — I loved them. The atmosphere is deeply unsettling yet beautifully executed, creating a strong emotional response. In our own jam project, we also explored how AI can influence human cognition and how that concept can become quite terrifying. Excellent work, human creators

Thank you so much! I got yours on my list still but will be playing these days for sure

Love the character design and general aesthetic. The story is quite intriguing and it unfolds in a very good way, I love the concept of the world of Oneiros. The dialogues themselves were well written and I loved interacting with stuff to discover more along the way! Great music as well

Amazing project overall, congrats <3

You really nailed this style! I wish there was more stuff to interact with, items would be super helpful since I couldn't make it past quiz 4 I think, it gets way too fast and stamina is just not enough.

Loved the voicelines and sfx overall. I almost had a heart attack the last time he caught me so good job on that (it's so funny how he keeps bumping into you when u die)

I knew even before the game title showed up that I'd love this

This is such a unique idea executed in such a perfect way. Aesthetics and audio were really really good. The dialogues tell the story very well. When the look-around is introduced, the atmosphere evolves into something really overwhelming and creepy, it portrays really well what you were trying to make the player feel and understand (and you did).

Really creative, loved everything about it, love the style in all aspects of it, inmediate follow and so excited to see what you create next! Amazing job

Wow that ending caught me off guard! Great entry. The fishing mechanic was pretty fun, charging the ligths as well, cool way to represent the spin. Visually, it looks excellent, happy to see many of us love that style hehe. The audio aspect was nice as well, the atmosphere felt tense and I love how you played with silence sometimes. The POV in between days really added a lot as well, like I was being hunted!

However, the mouse sensitivity was a problem, I'm guessing it is because it is framerate dependant, but it was reaally slow (still playable ofc). I also think some more feedback would benefit many aspects of the game, for example SFX when catching something, or more info on how to start fishing.

My first playthrough I did not realize I could only fish in small areas the second day, and I also didn't really understand a day had passed, I thought the character woke up in the middle of the night and I had to do something specific in those 5 minutes, like fixing the car, rather than fishing. Lastly, the RNG was a problem for me my second playthrough, I continuously caught small fishes that were not worth match, and did not make it in time.

This is a great game and even more so for a game jam, I wanted to comment those things to give as much feedback as I could. I really enjoyed and congrats! Good job

Fishing convinced me and it looks quite interesting, I'll try it tonight! Here's ours:

(1 edit)

Dude the atmosphere was so tense, I got so paranoid, really really good sound design. So many layers and sfx and things that worked so well together. Loved its visuals as well, the shader style, computer ui, the environment, everything felt very polished. The monster got stuck on the stairs and I guess it should've been roaming around the office, I didn't get to play like that (I still was scared it would open the door any second).  Oh and the voice lines were great as well, like they really fit with what we could see about the company for some reason

Amazing job! Congrats <3

This is so unique, so impressive how much you can tell with this few pixels. Beautiful pixel art, great storytelling. I wish there was some audio, but excellent either way. Loved this, congrats <3

Idk how u managed to do this in 7 days, incredible job! Great character design, perfect aesthetics, feels super nostalgic. Super polished, really nice audio and visual effects, they really add a lot.

Awesome game overall. Only thing I could mention is that enemies felt a little unfair sometimes, their attack area may be too big and damage often felt unavoidable. Loved it anyways! Congrats

First playthrough game broke, but so glad I played again! I was really confused at first but wasn't to hard to realize what to do. The enemy was quite creepy, and the animations when it peeked at you were awesome. I liked its visual style and sound design.

Discovering what to do while moving through stalls was super fun! Loved this concept and great execution, great job!

This was a crazy experience, I was so confused but in a good way, I loved it. I could never guess what would come next, I'm not sure what the reward/penalization of the minigames were, if any, but still very interesting and unique. Everything makes sense later and I love that.

Also lovely art and great sound design, felt really overwhelmed along with the main character. Great job, great game <3

Loved so many things from this game! Level design was great, loved the environment and visuals of everything. Sound design was SO GOOD, the atmosphere, the steps were scary af, the voice lines were incredible. Well polished and great game feel overall. Great death animation.

This was a really great experience, amazing job guys!

LA LLORONA?!

Good atmosphere, and love the visual style. Nice setting and intro as well. Found controls a bit annoying, it felt too mechanic for a kid running around. I struggled a little to follow the sounds! Sometimes I died as soon as I stopped hearing her and sometimes I got more time, but probably it's because I'm stupid. I also wished there was more impact whenever u got caught, it surprised me but maybe a SFX would've added so much more tension.

Still I enjoyed it and replayed until I found the ball yay! Great job!

Fun little game! I thought the head shaking added some realism since u were desperately running from a monster and well, makes sense I guess lol. The jump animation looked SICK and worked really well! I wish there was a monster step SFX and some noises while you ran, it would create so much more tension and sense of running for your life. Because of that I also thought maybe when u crashed into something you just slowed down and the monster would catch up a little so now I'd hear it, but that insta death caught me off guard haha. Anyways great submission and nice job!

Awesome game! Love the voicelines, the overall aesthetics, monster design was nice, really liked their sfx. Intro and ending cutscenes where great as well. The cave was fun to explore because I usually have a good sense of direction but I kept running in circles and scared of the battery running out. As soon as the character said "something could sneak up from behind" I got paranoid and couldn't stop turning around every 5 seconds lol. Great atmosphere. Oh and I also loved the flashlight focus thingy. Only thing I didn't like as much was the gun, it was kinda underwhelming after that badass dialogue and the mood it set, in terms of feedback and fx. Going for the mosnters was so fun tho, I got scared when I ran out of ammo and they immediatly started chasing me (reload was kinda weird as well).

Though all the details I mention are completely understandable since this is a jam, the game overall was awesome of course! Congrats and awesome entry <3

Nice, here's our game!

https://itch.io/jam/scream-jam-2025/rate/3964974

Really addicting! I thought it'd be impossible at first but I love that bullets show u more of the surroundings, you can play a lot with that. It was super fun to keep getting upgrades and seeing how powerful I could get. I couldn't make it past wave 9 for now, but it was a great entry! Idk if it's my browser or what but wish it had audio :( Great job! Congrats <3

Wow, well it really paid off, easily one of the favorite games I've played this jam! Certainly the one I spent the most playing. Great job

I love rhythm games so had fun with this one! I love the story and presentation, works super well! Found the gameplay quite hard, since it's not like usual rhythm games where required input is related to certain positions or colors, so a bit frustrating at the beginning. Sometimes the audio did not sync perfectly with gameplay as well. But either way had fun once I practised a little more! I really wanted to see more of this story, congrats! Amazing game

I don't even know how long I spent playing this game. This was such a great surprise! So much content, flawlessly designed. At first I thought "nice, it will be fun to interact with all these crazy objects" but then realized you can do so much stuff!! So creative and dialogues are so good.

Such an emotional rollercoaster as well! I don't understand how you managed to create all of this in just a week. Congrats! Excellent game

Super fun game! Very polished! Wished there was some platforming or something to reach some ingredients, and maybe more complex combinations, tho going left to right in a hurry felt surprisingly fun.  Really cute and well made submission, congrats!

Incredible visually and really interesting concept. I also struggled a little to understand how to play at first, but I found it mysterious and fun to understand wtf was going on lol Love the setting and atmosphere.

I have to agree that it sometimes relies too much on RNG, and I'm usually super unlucky :( But I really appreciate the rules and the concept, truly well thought and really original take.

Congrats! Amazing submission

awesome, I'm following u then

I LOVED this game's aesthetics and sound. The worldbuilding and story were pretty interesting as well. Of course some more feedback when shooting or damaging enemies would be nice, but well, jam things. Either way I really enjoyed this, I'd love to see a longer version to keep exploring this world and learn more about the story. Congrats! Great work

Nice little story, interacting with everything I could was quite fun haha I have to agree with some stuff I've seen in other comments, I feel the main character's design doesn't really fit with the atmosphere and story. Some more sfx and details would've been nice, still nice use of sound effects. The story was interesting even tho it was a little predictable, but still liked it! Also agree that I wanted to be told more stuff with events, images or sound, rather than text sometimes.

Congrats and amazing job for your first project!

This was quite fun! Found it a bit confusing at times, mainly because I'm stupid tho, but I think I got softlocked after the third limb because I had no money left and kept losing no matter what, but nothing happened after the 5 games. Still this was a great game, it looks amazing, interesting vibe, maybe I'd like some more feedback and sfx but of course really polished and great for a jam. Congrats!

great minds think alike (??

this was SUCH A GREAT EXPERIENCE. That ending was beautiful. Speaking of beatiful, visuals were amazing. It's amazing how u managed to create something so mysterious and unique. The audio was great as well, the little sfx throughout the game created a great atmosphere and made me a little paranoid lol But well this is such a great game already, idk how u managed to do this for a jam! Congrats I loved it <3

My personal favorite yet. It was a really interesting experience, and a pretty intense one later. I loved how things escalated and kinda made me feel paranoid like the character itself. Beautiful art as well! Amazing job, congrats <3
