It's like this because I originally wanted to make a game where you play as a quantum (as you can hear in the title) and need to fight against other quantums and since quantums are in a superposition while not observed, I made it like this. That's also why they can't move when you see them or they decide for one state (shooter or not shooter) when observed. Before you see them they constantly change between both states. But then I didn't know what background I should make for the game when the player is a quantum so I just turned him into a bacteria in a world of organic cells but kept the game mechanics and the name ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
