really loved the music, and gameplay feels like you are all alone and incorporates well with the theme "Last Stand"
One thing I noticed was after death enemies keep spawning.

Hi Dark Soul Studios!
Unfortunately you were the victim of a bug that I have been trying to track down for days and I still can't quite squash it :( I will keep trying though! Thanks for playing and I hope you had fun!
Really impressed with your submission The Last Grab and congrats on making it to the deadline. It's no easy feat!
best one played yet. it was like cod zombies but in 2d and old west setting. really awesome
The game was really fun. I like the art and the mechanics are simple and easy to understand. Nice job !
Hey there CaptainBug! It's so great to see you on our page and thanks so much for giving our game a shot. I've been really enjoying your team's submission Resistance of The Forgotten Kingdom! Especially impressed that you were able to put in a nice variety of weapons and enemies in your game as that was an area that we couldn't get to!
Hi Ceribrox! I recognize your name from our global leaderboard! As of now you have the distinction of holding the top score not scored by a developer or family member of the developers so congratulations! And I can see from your score that you were a mere 6 seconds away from making it through the wave that ended up getting ya! :D
I just got done playing some Soulbind! <--- Highly recommend!!
You managed to capture something really powerful with the combination of music, visuals, and storytelling. A poignant and powerful submission.
Super well done! I always love "survive the night" games like this. I'll admit having only 20 seconds of day feels a little brutal to me, I can't even imagine how you start playing blackjack during that time XD
But this game is awesome! Great job!
Incredibly fun game! massive COD Zombies vibes (which I do like!)
Played multiple rounds of it & got addicted! everything works together really well, Frantically spamming E on multiple windows while hiding in a corner was defo an experience XD
Overall, really amazing job! please continue this ;)
Well well well...if it isn't IDKBOX...a name that I recognize from our top 10 global leaderboard! Congratulations!
Your game submission is just incredible. Simply incredible. I left my full thoughts plus a rating over on your submission page, but to anyone reading this comment you must try Until My End
oh yeah sadly it's a little hidden! I wish we had done a better job on this but after you complete a run, the global leaderboard will start scrolling up (kind of like how they did on old arcade games back in the day) In the future we will add a way to view the leaderboard from the start menu though!
Mechanics play off each other really well, managing your barricades and reloads is a great, stressful gameplay loop! Nice use of the theme also, well done
Hi Lumofish!
I just got done diving in to your excellent strategy game Tilegrounds! Man I was getting really addicted I had to pull myself away because I want to get through as many games as possible during the voting period but I highly recommend Tilegrounds to folks who like good strategy games! Great job!
The UI needs some work but the game has good art, music, and SFX. It also has smooth and enjoyable gameplay. To me, it felt like the reload time was too long and the rest time too short, but it could be I'm just bad at the game. All in all, I had a good time playing.
Your game is really good. I had fun playing it. Has a good level of difficulty, nice and simple gameplay loop, and is visually pretty. Congrats!
Very fun little game, the time between waves was far too short for the minigame, but the gameplay loop was entertaining and could make for a good game for a leaderboard
Hi ZKyle! Totally fair critique on the time between waves. Funny you should bring up the leaderboard, we actually do have a global leaderboard implemented :D But it only shows up at the end of a round after a few seconds of waiting. I think we could have made that more clear or made a button that takes you to the leaderboard.
Thanks for stopping by and giving us a shot!
I really enjoyed your game submission :)
Really enjoyed the repair mechanic. Art was cool and felt polished as well.
Very intense and very fun! Quite challenging as well, which I definitely appreciate. I like that you worked with a simple concept and made it very fun and satisfying to play :) It reminds me of when you're trapped in a house in a game like resident evil and you have to keep enemies from getting into the house by fixing windows, etc. So great job on executing your game!!
Good game! But, how about making the repair automatic when we were standing in the circle? I don't think it will decrease the fun. well, maybe it is. but it will be more forgiving.
Overall, Good work!
Really fun and engaging game. I was fully focused while playing the game, trying to manage my ammo and make sure all of the windows were fixed. Amazing art, animations, and sound design. I specially really liked the ammo refill animation and sound effect, it's very well done. Overall, great job on the game!
The game feels very solid mechanically!
The art and visuals are great, however I think the walls breaking could have been indicated with a more visible color (for example full red), as the gradient sometimes makes it hard to see how broken the wall actually is (at least for me), and the UI could be a little more organized.
Our game that we have made for the jam is similar in some aspects, so yours has caught me by surprise! :D
Overall, i think it's a super cool take on the theme of the jam and very creative one too!
Keep it up, and good luck!
Thanks so much for playing. That feedback is very useful! You are definitely not the first one that has had some trouble reading the damage meters on the doors and windows, I'd like to revisit that in future editions of the game.
I saw you were able to crack our top 10 leaderboard! Grats on the score!
Really cool aesthetic style. The shooting feels good but I had a hard time knowing what was interactable for turrets. It gets really tense when the ghouls are jumping through the windows while you reload!
